Anti-Semitism in Austria

Hat tip Gates of Vienna, RAIR Foundation and Vlad Tepes

A few days ago, we reported on the assault on a Jewish leader and his synagogue by a Syrian migrant in the Austrian city of Graz. In reaction to the incident, Gerald Grosz, an Austrian politician for the BZÖ (Bündnis Zukunft Österreich, Alliance for the Future of Austria) and the FPÖ (Freiheitliche Partei Österreichs, Austrian Freedom Party), has made a short video about the re-introduction of Jew hatred into Austria.

In 1938, Austria's government was forced to give in to Hitlers annexation of the country in what came to be called, the Anschluss. Millions of Austrians welcomed the Nazis enthusiastically. The persecution of Jews began immediately.  Many Austrian Nazis played central roles in the Holocaust.

Now, all these years later, Austria has once again opened its doors to the new Nazis. The question now is whether we will start to see an exodus of Jews from Austria as we have seen in France and Sweden.
