"Position has evolved over the years"


Joe Biden's latest presidential campaign is off to another inglorious start. This week, his office confirmed his long standing support for the Hyde Amendment, which bans federal funding for abortions except in cases of rape, incest or danger to the mother's life. That led to howls of outrage from the left.

"The 2020 presidential hopeful’s campaign confirmed to NBC that Biden still supports the Hyde Amendment, which bans the use of federal funding for abortions except in cases of rape, incest or if the mother’s life is in danger. Biden supports Roe v. Wade, but previously said his abortion stances are “middle of the road,” according to NBC.

So, due to pressure from the left, old Joe changed his position on the Hyde Amendment.

"NBC News correspondent Mike Memoli noted the reversal, tweeting, “NEWS: Biden says that in an environment where women’s health is under assault especially in GOP-led states, he ‘can no longer support an amendment’ that cuts off funding, as in Hyde.”

But the story gets better. CNN"s Chris Cuomo then brought on Keith Richards look-a-like Representative Rosa DeLauro (D-CT), who, sporting her new purple hair, explained the flip flop by saying that Biden had apparently "evolved" over the years. You can watch this bit of hilarity below.

Actually, Rosa, Joe's position has "evolved" over the days-if not over the hours. Somebody please buy this woman a watch-or a calendar.
