John Dean? Really?

"I know a thing or two about obstruction of justice."

I can only shake my head at the House Democrats dragging in Watergate figure and convicted felon, John Dean, to testify Monday about the Trump investigation. What is the world is Jerald " Football head" Nadler thinking of? Maybe he thinks Dean is an expert witness when it comes to obstruction.

The younger generation may not remember who Dean was. These days, he is a talking head on CNN who repeatedly lectures the audience about how corrupt every Republican president since Nixon was and/or is. Dean, in fact, was President Nixon's White House counsel during the days when Watergate began. He was a leading figure in the obstruction being orchestrated out of the White House. He pleaded guilty to obstruction of justice and went to prison. In addition, he was disbarred. Now he is a partisan hack who masquerades as the conscience of  Washington for CNN.

If I were a Republican on that committee, I would ask him just these questions:

"Were you part of the Watergate cover up?" Answer: "Yes."

"Did you commit obstruction of justice and are you convicted of that offense?" Answer: "Yes."

"What personal knowledge do you have of this particular matter involving President Trump and allegations of Russian collusion?" Answer: "None."

"Thank you. I have no further questions."

John Dean knows nothing more than the rest of us when it comes to the on-going Russian collusion hoax. All he has is the same opinions he mouths on cable news. Furthermore, his credibility will be suspect until the day he dies. His appearance before Nadler's Democrat-controlled committee shows the partisan nature of these hearings.

Who is Nadler going to call next to testify-Chris Cuomo?
