Out here in Orange County, our elected representative for Congress, Mimi Walters (R), is running for re-election against a frumpy, squeaky-voiced liberal named Katie Porter (D, who is for all the standard liberal issues like raising taxes. Porter previously served then California Attorney General, now Senator Kamala Harris, overseeing banks. (As AG, Harris was primarily concerned with going after big business rather than putting violent criminals in prison.)
In addition, the liberal web site, Mother Jones, describes Porter as a protegee of none other than Elizabeth Warren. They even co-authored a book together.
It should also be noted that Porter has been a professor at the UC Irvine Law School, specializing in bankruptcy. Founded by now UC Berkeley law school dean Erwin Chemerinsky, the UCI Law School is little more than a breeding ground for left-wing activist lawyers. Under the leadership of the liberal Chemerinsky, the UCI law school allowed the Communist National Lawyers Guild to have a chapter affiliated with the law school. (NLG was founded in the 1930s as a legal arm of the Communist Party USA.) As I reported several times, the NLG chapter at UCI Law acted as "legal observers" for the Students for Justice in Palestine UCI chapter when they disrupted Jewish events on campus in May 2016 and May 2017. On the latter occasion, I was present and videotaped the entire incident.
If you live in California's 45th Congressional district, you need to take a close look at Katie Porter before you give her your vote.

Katie Porter is part of the effort to "flip" the OC to the Far Left. She could do this if she gets a foothold in the 45 district. If you are a Republican or an Independent, I strongly suggest that a vote for Mimi Walters would stop the Flipping.
