This week, I cross-posted a report on the University of Michigan professor who refused to write a letter of recommendation for a student to study in Israel. The refusal was based on the professor's support for the BDS movement (Boycott, Divest and Sanctions against Israel). Now numerous organizations have sent a letter to the University of Michigan president urging him to take action to stop this blatant discrimination against students who support Israel. In addition, the Amcha Initiative and almost 60 other organizations have sent a similar letter to the University of Michigan.

Hopefully, the president of the University of Michigan will take corrective measures so that this kind of incident never happens again. It was disgraceful.
