ESPN's Political Correctness: Curt Schilling Fired
Former pitcher Curt Schilling, who is a social conservative, has often gotten in hot water over his stated views. Now ESPN has fired him for this.

So somebody posts a picture of some dope dressed up like a woman in arguing against the current transgender/bathroom cause. Schilling re-posts it, re-tweets it, or whatever they do with a comment ("Dear God"). For that he is fired. I don't get it.
Let me walk a mile in Schilling's shoes here. As the above link notes, Schilling previously got into hot water for comparing radical Muslims to Nazis.
So have I, but I have never gotten into hot water with my (part-time) employer (UC Irvine). I regard those who are killing in the name of Islam to be comparable to Nazis. There-I said it again.
As for the transgender/bathroom issue, here is how I feel. Everybody should use the rest room that corresponds to what is between their legs. Dressing up like a woman doesn't make you a woman. Any man can do that in order to gain access to a women's restroom. On the other hand, if a person has had the surgery to change gender, then I say OK.
I fear that in the future we are going to see some sexual assaults in restrooms that involve a transgender assailant-and- assaults against transgenders who anger others with their presence. Who needs this?
Far be it from me to criticize Curt Schilling.

As I always say, "In your heart, you know you're a woman, but when the girls see your dick they sure feel like they're taking a shower with a man. Come back after the operation and we'll talk about it."
