"Say, didn't you used to be Professor Gutierrez?"

Last I saw of Berkeley professor Andrew Gutierrez, he was heckling Jewish students on campus who were peacefully protesting the appearance of swastikas on campus. That was back in 2010.

I had read somewhere that he is now Professor Emeritus Gutierrez, which in academic parlance means he is retired. If true, I guess Andy wanted to spend more time with his wife Marina and her Women in Black crowd who hang out on Fridays on Telegraph Road haranguing passers-by with screeds against Israel. It seems some pro-Israel folks caught Andy in a lie. Nothing serious mind you, just using photos of the carnage in Syria and presenting it as Palestinians massacred by Israelis.

I guess it is not bad enough that students have to put up with the assorted street people on Telegraph Rd. On Fridays they have to put up with the Gutierrez's.
