Federal Statutes Regarding Handling of Government/Classified Documents
Below are two federal statutes that govern the use of government and classified documents.

The first statute (18 USC 2071) provides that anyone convicted of violating it shall be unable to hold public office.
The second statute (18 USC 1924) is what General David Petraeus pleaded guilty to.
