CNN's Chris Cuomo interviewed Pam Geller yesterday. Cuomo took issue with Geller's use of the Mohammad cartoons and a vigorous debate ensued. At the 7:11 mark, Cuomo tells Geller that sharia is not mainstream Muslim thought.
Cuomo is woefully uninformed. If sharia is not part of mainstream Muslim thought, why do the leading Islamic clerics in the US try to convince us that sharia is perfectly compatible with US law and our Constitution? (It isn't.) Mr Cuomo needs to brush up on his facts before he debates the subject on national TV.
