Nadir Soofi
The second shooter killed last night in Texas is identified as Nadir Soofi.

Given the apparent link to Al Shabaab, I had been guessing one or both of the shooters might be Somali. That is apparently not the case. This report says Soofi studied for a while in Pakistan. Unclear is whether he was born in the US or immigrated.
By the way: Does anybody out there still believe in gun control? The horse left the barn decades ago, and it seems innocent people need more than ever to protect themselves.

Looks like Obama Himself may have been talking about these two dudes when he mentioned the "JV" squad, no??
The reporting appears to be that they were armed with AK-47's (I did not catch if they were fully-auto "assault rifles" or the much dreaded semi-auto military "lookalike" version).
With a number of Federal/local law enforcement officers around, even though an unarmed security officer was wounded (hopefully slightly), this one cop apparently took them down with only a handgun. Good cop, good shot, good shooting.
Any riots in Garland yet?? Naw, didn't think so.
