Pope Francis has issued a call for Christians to stand with Jews in a time of rising anti-Semitism in Europe.

The Pontiff's words are most welcome. The Pope, whomever he is, must stand strong at this time in rallying Christians to the defense of Europe's Jews. Even though not all Europeans are Catholics, and the continent has become very secular, his words carry much weight.
