Alan Henning has become the 4th American/British victim of beheading in Syria at the hands of ISIS. Of course, countless more Arabs have been beheaded by these barbarians and those deaths are equally outrageous. There isn't much to say that has not already been said. I hear that Muslim leaders in Britain are expressing their sorrow at the news and insisting that it has nothing to do with Islam. Frankly, their words wore thin on me long ago.
If there is anything positive coming out of this horror by ISIS, coupled with beheadings that have occurred in Britain and now the US, more and more of the public is waking up to the reality that we have been talking about for too long. Radicals? No. They are following the letter of their law. We need to go back to accurately describing them as fundamentalists.
But until our leaders and the media wake up to the hard facts and take the actions that are required to keep us safe here in our own countries, we can expect more incidents like what happened in Moore, Oklahoma and London.

Gary, you are always vague on the "actions" you are calling for. One wonders why.
But you are right that outrage is wasted on these thugs. They are doing what they set out to do. No point in telling them how bad they are -- they just laugh. The point is to kill them.
