Canuck Yuks: Al Quds Day in Canada

Hat tip Blazing Cat Fur

If you think Canada is immune from the craziness we see in the lower 48 when it comes to support for the Palestinian terrorists trying to destroy Israel and wipe out every last Jew, think again. This week, cities across Canada had their annual Al Quds day, which for all you UC Santa Cruz Community Studies and History of Consciousness majors, is the Arabic word for Jerusalem. Blazing Cat Fur has three short video clips taken from demonstrations in Toronto and Calgary. The latter video was made by Press TV (which for you UCSCCSHC majors) is the English-language press organ of the Iranian regime. Pay close attention to that clip's reference to the "more moral foreign policy of states such as Iran".

If you are wondering who the two Rasputin-look-a-likes are in the fur hats in the first video, those are representatives from the Jewish Neturei Karta sect, a fringe bunch of oddballs who think there should be no state of Israel. They are also buddy buddy with Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and the regime in Iran. Rabbi Ysroel Dovid Weiss of New York regularly makes trips to Tehran to hug Mahmoud and defend him. When he came to speak at UCI in 2011, I asked him why he defends Iran. Answer? Because they stand up to Israel and protect their Jewish community. When I asked him about how Iran treats its Baha'i and homosexual communities, he ignored the question-even after I pointed it out- and kept to his scripted talking points.
