More on the Wave of Intimidation in South Dakota
Richard Swier of Red County has also written a piece on the intimidation being directed toward Sioux Falls activist Lisa Marie Johnson by local Islamic thugs. The piece includes pictures of the rocks and damage directed at Johnson's home.

It would be nice for former Senator James Abourezk to issue a statement condemning these acts since he has been in the forefront of demonizing Johnson and her allies in South Dakota.

It all sounds pretty dubious to me. Lisa sounds like a hysterical creature pushing a twisted agenda. As such, she has the same first amendment rights I, Miggie, George Lincoln Rockwell, and Rudy Giuliani enjoy, among others. (No, there is NO ideological commonality on that list, which is precisely the point).
These are, historically speaking, rather minor acts of vandalism. I bet the number perpetrating them is under five. Yes, the police should track down the little thugs and given them the usual sentence for vandalism.
This puff piece in an ideological rag is hardly worthy of serious consideration.
As to why there are four mosques in a city of 120,000 with a significant Somali population, I hardly think we are talking about huge cut-stone edifices. Maybe four rented storefronts? Perhaps there are four for the same reason you can find four pentecostal storefronts on one block in some neighborhoods I'm familiar with.
Or, maybe they each represent a different school of Islam, and wouldn't be caught dead worshipping with each other.
Wave of intimidation? Gary, this is pathetic.
