Geert Wilders Trial Opens

Today, the trial of Dutch parliamentarian Geert Wilders opened in The Netherlands. As reported prior, Wilders is being prosecuted for his statements criticizing radical Islam. Not only the Dutch, but the Europeans are watching this trial closely. The entire principle of free speech is on trial with Wilders in The Netherlands. Make no mistake; this is a landmark trial.
