The DNC: "The System Was Rigged"

Hat tip The Intercept
                                                           The whole thing was rigged.

"It might may no difference, but for KY and WVA can we get someone to ask his belief. Does he believe in a God. He had skated on saying he has a Jewish heritage. I think I read he is an atheist. This could make several points difference with my peeps. My Southern Baptist peeps would draw a big difference between a Jew and an atheist."

For all the talk about the RNC and Republican establishment trying to submarine Donald Trump's campaign for the nomination, they stood aside and recognized the winner. Donald Trump is their nominee. The real rigged system was over at the DNC.

Now world-wide rascal, Wikileaks, has released almost 20,000 emails from within the DNC that reveals they were working to submarine Bernie Sanders' quest for the nomination in favor of Hillary Clinton. Worse yet, one DNC official, Brad Marshall, suggested going after Sanders' religious background. Sanders comes from a Jewish background, but Marshall implied he was an atheist. Either way, Marshall suggested, that may not play well in places like Kentucky and West Virginia.

This is the same issue as the "plantation" idea that African-American voters are taken for granted because they will always vote Democratic. Here you have liberal Jewish voters who for years have voted overwhelmingly for the Democrats. Many are starting to question why.

Now this.

Say what you will about Trump and the Republican field he faced. The Republicans put out 17 candidates, many of whom I feel would have made a fine candidate and president. Am I happy that Trump prevailed? No, but he won it fair and square largely because the conservative voters feel betrayed by the Republican establishment. They were right. They have been betrayed..

Then you have the Democrats and their corrupt standard bearer, Hillary Clinton, who had almost 500 super delegates in her column from the start of the campaign season.

So I ask you Sanders supporters: How do you  feel now?

I ask you Jewish voters who always vote for Democrats: How do you feel now?

Can you feel the corruption in your party? Can you smell it? Are you really going to wipe the spittle off your faces and march lock step into the polls and vote for this corrupt, venal, vain-glorious grifter?

I keep waiting for the straw that broke the camel's back. It has been along wait. Is this it? I doubt it.

Nixon and Ted Tennedy Discuss the Upcoming Election

Hello?

Hey Ted. It's me, Dick.

Dick! To what do I owe this call?

I just finished watching the convention in Cleveland, and I was wondering who you're gonna vote for (Heh heh. need I ask).

Well, what a coincidence. I just bought me an "I like Donald" button.

Huh?

That's right. I'm all in for the Donald.

Why in the world are you voting for Trump?

One word, Dickie boy. Chicks. Have you see the eye candy Trump surrounds himself with? How about that Ivanka?  I'll bet she'd like to go on a moonlight spin with the Tedster in his Olds 88.

Hell, I figured you'd be voting for Hillary.

Nah. Have you seen those tree trunk legs? Why do you think she wears those God-awful pant suits all the time. I'd hate to run my 88 into one of those legs one dark night after a few highballs. Say, how about you? No doubt we're on the same side for once.

Sorry, Teddie. Hillary's my gal.

Huh?

That's right. Face it. She's me.

But aren't you forgetting she worked on that Watergate committee?

Sure. I taught her everything she knows.

But all your fellow Republicans are saying she' ll be Obama's third term.

I prefer to think she will be Nixon's unfinished term. Think of it, Teddie. I had an 18-minute gap. She has a 4-year gap. I had J Edgar Hoover with his secret files hanging over my head and all predecessors' heads. She's got James Edgar Comey sticking her file back in his desk drawer. I'm telling you; happy days are here again. In fact, I'll be her  closest adviser.

Yeah and I suppose she's gonna fly out to Yorba Linda every time she needs advice, right?

No. All she's gotta do is walk the halls of the White House at three o'clock in the morning when that phone rings and talk to my portrait. I'l,l always be there for her.

Gee, Dick. I was thinking we were gonna be on the campaign trail together.

Cheer up, Ted. We can do a series of debates. I mean who wants to watch a debate between Tim Kaine and Mike Pence, be jeezus?

You're right there, Dickie boy. Look, I gotta go. Somebody's at the front door. I think it's that hottie next door.

OK. I'll see you in Wichita.

The Motive in Munich? "Allahu Akhbar"

Hat tip Jihad Watch

The Munich attacker is identified as Ali Sonboli, 18, of dual Iranian-German citizenship. It seems clear, according to eyewitnesses, that when he opened fire in a McDonald's, his first words were-you guessed it- "Allahu Akhbar". It also appears that the insults mouthed toward foreigners and Turks during the incident were from bystanders and directed towards the shooter. And worst of all, many of the dead are children apparently lured to their deaths by a Facebook ad posted by the killer with promises of free food.

https://www.jihadwatch.org/2016/07/munich-jihadi-may-have-lured-children-to-their-deaths-with-fake-facebook-ad

And just think: News reports that  the killer may have been a neo-Nazi were based partly on reports that he wore boots like neo Nazis tend to do.

Boots.

Making Sense of the Munich Attack

Hat tip Gates of Vienna

At this point it appears that there was one shooter in the Munich attack that has left 10 dead including the shooter who is believed to have killed himself. The shooter is tentatively identified as an 18 (or 19)-year old man who dual Iranian and German citizenship. Gates of Vienna has a video with a verbal exchange between the shooter and at least one other person.

http://gatesofvienna.net/2016/07/the-exchange-at-the-parking-garage-in-munich/

There have been conflicting reports about what the shooter is reported to have said. Hours earlier, he was reported to have made reference to "Scheiss (shit) foreigners", insulted Turks ( a large minority in Germany), and stated that he was a German. On the other hand, a Muslim female bystander stated emphatically that he said, "Allahu Akhbar" (God is great.).

Frankfurter Allgemeine states that the man was 18-years old of Iranian origin, and that the motive is unclear. They also state that the shooter was wounded by police before killing himself.

http://www.faz.net/aktuell/gesellschaft/kriminalitaet/schiesserei-in-muenchener-olympia-einkaufszentrum-14353242.html

I am speculating here, but I am guessing that the shooter had one of two possible motives. Obviously, it is necessary to determine if he was a Muslim. Since he apparently had German citizenship, there may have been a resentment over not being treated as a full German within society. Or it may just be another case of jihad. At any rate, it appears that this was not the act of some neo-Nazi.

John Kerry Protecting Us From Air Conditioners in Vienna

Hat tip Jihad Watch

John Kerry: You can't stop him. You can only contain him. Once again our secretary of state has outdone himself with a boffo statement. This time he is in Vienna making a laughing stock out of the US by comparing the danger of something called hydroflourocarbons to the threat of ISIS.

http://freebeacon.com/national-security/kerry-air-conditioners-worse-isis/

“As we were working together on the challenge of [ISIS] and terrorism,” Kerry said. “It’s hard for some people to grasp it, but what we–you–are doing here right now is of equal importance because it has the ability to literally save life on the planet itself.”

Don't get too close to that air conditioner. It might cut your head off.

The Trump Speech

I made it a point to watch Donald Trump's acceptance speech last night. First, I watched Ivanka Trump's speech introducing her father. She was magnificent.

Trump's supporters wanted red meat, and he gave it to  them. It was vintage Trump and the best speech he has given thus far. However, I was not too comfortable with his repeated statements that he was the "law and order candidate". Not that I have anything against law and order, mind you, but let's be honest. To many African-Americans, that has a sinister ring to it. I would say, however, that black folks living in the inner cities of South Chicago, LA, Detroit, Baltimore et al, should want law and order too. They are the ones least safe.

Most of the crowd was loudly enthusiastic though a few were apparently sitting on their hands. The Republicans need to recognize that they now only have two choices for president-Trump or Hillary Clinton. As for me, Trump was not my first choice by a mile, but he has won this nomination fair and square. I have a lot of reservations about him. Conservative commentator Michael Medved, whom I greatly respect, said this week that while he knows Hillary would be terrible for the country, Trump could be catastrophic. I agree, but I am hoping he will surround himself with sound, conservative people with solid foreign policy experience.

On that basis, I have no choice but to vote for Donald Trump.

The Munich Shooting

As I write this, it has just been announced that the number of dead in Munich is nine (which may include one gunman). The attack began in the northeast area of Munich called Moosach.

What is yet to be determined is who the attackers are. There are conflicting reports. One report indicates this may be the work of some sort of neo-Nazi group that is striking back against foreigners. We just don't know at this point. If that is true, this adds a terrifying new element to the problems in Europe. It may be a coincidence, but today is the 5th anniversary of Anders Breivik's terror attack in Norway.

And it is reported that Angela Merkel is on vacation.

Judith Butler and the Bad Writing Award

Hat tip Minding the Campus and See Thru EDU

The English language reportedly has one million words, but the average English speaker only uses about ten thousand of them. The other 990,000 are contained in the below paragraph (or seemingly).

"The move from a structuralist account in which capital is understood to structure social relations in relatively homologous ways to a view of hegemony in which power relations are subject to repetition, convergence, and rearticulation brought the question of temporality into the thinking of structure, and marked a shift from a form of Althusserian theory that takes structural totalities as theoretical objects to one in which the insights into the contingent possibility of structure inaugurate a renewed conception of hegemony as bound up with the contingent sites and strategies of the rearticulation of power."- Judith Butler

UC Berkeley Professor Judith Butler is (yawn) another one of those Jewish academics who hates Israel. I got a taste of her in March 2015 when she came to speak at UC Irvine.( I videotaped the performance and asked her a critical question regarding the crowd of Jew-haters she has aligned herself with.) Not satisfied with her answer, I sent her a letter further expounding on my question. Of course, I received no response.

http://garyfouse.blogspot.com/2015/05/an-open-letter-to-professor-judith.html

The below article on Butler by SeeThruEDU gives an insight into Butler's "clogged" thinking.

Judith Butler. Unfortunately, just another face in the crowd at UC Berkeley.

Erwin Chemerinsky's "Rule of Law"

"I worry that his  her meanness and nastiness is changing the very nature of acceptable discourse."

Just one week after his op-ed defending Hillary Clinton's non-indictment, UCI Law School Dean Erwin Chemerinsky takes Donald Trump to task over the issue of the rule of law. Here is today's Orange County Register edition of "Erwin's Law".

http://www.ocregister.com/articles/trump-723074-law-ginsburg.html

I suppose Chemo prefers Hillary's "rule of law", which involves perjury, destruction of evidence, mishandling of classified documents, and bribery through her corrupt Clinton Foundation. Don't expect a Chemerinsky op-ed on that anytime soon.

It should also be noted that when Students for Justice in Palestine and other brown shirts disrupted a Jewish film event at UCI on May 18, they were accompanied by so-called "legal observers" from the National Lawyers Guild (founded in the 1930s as a legal arm of the Communist Party USA) affiliated with Chemo's UCI Law School. These legal observers were demanding that the mob be admitted into the room even as they were trying to crash through the doors. Has anyone held Chemo accountable for the actions of his "legal observers"? Hardly.

I am no big booster of Donald Trump. He was far from my choice to win the Republican nomination. Some of the statements quoted by Chemo are, indeed, worthy of criticism. Yet, I find it curious that Chemo would attack Trump for his questionable statements while ignoring the decades of out and out corruption of Hillary Clinton.

Cruz Should Have Stayed Home

As impressive as the Trump children in their speeches at the Republican convention were, Newt Gingrich easily gave the best performance. It was short, to the point, and mostly dealt with confronting radical Islam. The worst performance went to Ted Cruz, who was booed unmercifully by the crowd for not endorsing Donald Trump. Many Republicans are saying Cruz put an end to his presidential hopes.

I can understand Cruz's unwillingness to endorse Trump after all the nasty things Trump said about him and his wife. But if that's the way he feels, he could have passed up giving a speech at the convention. If you are not going to endorse the nominee, why speak at all?

It just didn't make sense.

Newt Is Nailing it in Cleveland.

As I write, Newt Gingrich is midway through his speech at the Republican convention. He is giving the best speech of all. His main theme is radical Islam.

Arizona Muslim Wanted to Blow Up DMV and Jewish Site Says FBI

The FBI has thwarted yet another terrorist attack this time by a 19-year-old Muslim in Arizona named Mahin Khan. No comment, of course, from CAIR's SoCal director, Hussam Ayloush, who last year stated (in my presence) that only a dozen or so American Muslims had joined ISIS. I suspect the FBI has busted that many since he made the statement.

http://www.foxnews.com/us/2016/07/20/arizona-man-charged-with-plotting-terror-attack-also-eyed-jewish-center-fbi-says.html

Of all the people that are angry at the DMV, this guy wanted to hit there not because of the bureaucracy or the long lines. He wanted to hit the DMV because he knew there would be a lot of people there (waiting in line, of course). And why in the world would he want to hit a Jewish site? I'll tell you why; hatred of Jews is deeply, embedded in Islamic doctrine (along with hatred of Christians). There is an old saying, "First the Saturday people; then the Sunday people." No doubt he would have bombed a DMV on a Friday, a Jewish community center or synagogue on Saturday, and then a church on Sunday.

All of which has nothing to do with Islam, of course.
