Just when you thought Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats had enough problems with Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez comes this video from August 2016 when then-private citizen Tlaib was removed from a Trump campaign event. Of course, we know that moments after being sworn in as a congresswoman seven months ago, Tlaib proclaimed, "We're gonna impeach the motherf-----".
So I would ask Tlaib's constituents in the Detroit- Dearborn area of Michigan if they are not embarrassed by her. This is how Tlaib is representing them. This is the example set by the first Palestinian-American in Congress and one of the first Muslims in Congress (along with Keith Ellison, Andre Carson and Ilhan Omar-Democrats all). Tlaib had already served as a Detroit area state representative when this 2016 incident happened.
Not that I expect disgusted Democrats in the districts represented by Tlaib, Omar and Ocasio-Cortez to vote them out in 2020. This is what they want just as the voters in San Francisco will vote once again for Pelosi. But the rest of the country is watching this crew, and I have to believe that this is going to hurt Democrat candidates all over the country. If it doesn't, we are all in trouble.
