Below are two very graphic videos from the savage and barbaric mob murder of a university student in Pakistan for the "crime" of blasphemy. The victim was apparently an Ahmadiya Muslim, a branch of Islam which is not recognized by mainstream Muslims. In Pakistan, the Ahmadiya are badly persecuted.
Warning: The videos are graphic though the victim is already dead, which was not enough for this savage mob. I don't post these for the sake of sensationalism. I post these to make the statement that this ideology has no place in our country.
Note: It appears YouTube has already taken down the 2nd video. I expect they will take the first down soon as well.
Note the cries of "Allahu Akhbar" and "Takbir". Do they really think what they are doing is pleasing to God?
No doubt the apologists will claim that this is not true Islam, and that mob of Muslims, which by some accounts, numbered in the thousands, don't really understand Islam. Just as ISIS doesn't understand Islam. Just as Al Qaeda, Al Shabaab, Hamas, Boko Haram and Hizbollah don't understand Islam. Just as the Paris attackers, the Brussels attackers and all the other attackers in Europe don't understand Islam. The San Bernardino attackers? They didn't understand Islam. The Ft Hood mass murderer? He didn't understand Islam either. Ditto for the 9-11 hijackers who murdered 3,000 people.
Who does understand Islam? Is it the Ahmadiya? Is it the Sufists? Who?
Me? I don't understand how every day somewhere in the world, people are being savagely murdered in the name of God.

Of course they do. That's what makes them so dangerous. Did Torquemada believe that what he did was pleasing to God? Did Jim Jones? Almost certainly, yes.
