Today, in Fairfax County, (Northern) Virginia, a 75-year-old woman was struck and killed by a car. Not only that, the driver then turned his car around and drove over the woman a second time. Fairfax County police have arrested a man suspected to be the driver. Here is the police public report

The suspect is Kenan Mehmet Ozcan, 31. The name is Turkish. He is believed to have been a graduate of both Virginia Tech and George Mason University. He also reportedly has a previous conviction.

On the other hand, recently in my area there was a woman arrested after she had one hit and run with another vehicle, hit a pedestrian while fleeing the scene, drove her car back and forth trying to shake the pedestrian's body loose so she could flee again, eventually was stopped by someone placing a concrete block in front of her wheels, and she wasn't Arab or Muslim or anything. She had a good Anglo name. Might have been drunk though.
