The GSA Scandal: Too Much Money!!!

Our tax dollars at work

The report below just blows my mind when I think how any government employee can get the bonuses listed below. When I was a  DEA agent, I got an occasional award for "Outstanding Performance" in connection with this or that case I had been involved in. They usually came with a cash award of say....$500, if I recall.

But this......

I don't care if you are the head of an agency in Washington. There is no way anyone can justify a bonus of $50,000 or $79,000 of tax-payers' money to any one employee.

This is not just a case of excess government spending. This is corruption on a  massive scale. This is out and out stealing, and somebody needs to go to jail.

You are MONTHS behind the times Gary. Why don't you post a clip of Rep. Elijah Cummings excoriating the agency head responsible? I wouldn't dream of accusing you of not wanting to share the limelight with a man of African descent. But maybe not a Democrat.

(The agency head was long since dismissed. Yes, he should be prosecuted also).

I guess bloggers don't have to meet deadlines.

Gee, Siarlys, I don't recall making a partisan issue of it. It's not the first post on GSA. It's just that these figures were new to me.

Gary, what have you NOT made a partisan issue of? Whenever there is a good clip of a Republican congressman excoriating something, you liven up your post with it. You doth protest too much.

Also, you haven't dug very deeply.
