Hat tip to Gallia Watch and Novopress, Lyon for the video
The recent riots in Lyon have sparked yet another debate about immigration in France. According to Novo Press (Lyon), French media have attempted to carefully avoid pointing out that most of the perpetrators were young North African immigrants between 14-18 years of age. The below report is from Gallia Watch and contains links to French-language articles.

The below video shows a counter-demonstration by French nationals in reaction to the violence.

I was wondering how long it would be before you people would start scapegoating minority immigrants (and by extension, Muslims) for what is going on in France. Took a little longer than expected, but I knew it was coming.
France needs a non-racial answer to this. For a start, anyone who came to France from another country to "find work" and has not been working for a year or more should be deportable on that basis, without regard to race, creed, color, or country of origin.
But then, there are native born unemployed people whose parents worked all their lives in France.
On that basis, the antics of native-born French thugs of Frankish or Gaulish descent, and those of North African descent, are on the same level. Jacques Messrine wasn't Muslim.
