In my recent posting on the David Horowitz/Mark LeVine shoutdown on Hannity, I posted a couple of previous postings regarding my encounter with Muslim Brotherhood spokesman Ibrahim Al Houdaiby in LeVine's class. If you refer back to that posting and check out the links to Al-Houdaiby, you will see that he quotes the famed Muslim Brotherhood scholar Yusuf Al Qaradawi on the question of shariah law. Keep in mind that Al Houdaibi is trying to convince us that the Muslim Brotherhood has peaceful intentions. In my exchange with Al-Houdaiby, I pointed out that there were a number of troubling quotes attributed to Qaradawi.

Keep in mind that Qaradawi is considered one of the preeminent Islamic scholars in the world.

A well respected Orthodox Jewish rabbi has informed me that the Churban Europa (sometimes loosely referenced "Holocaust," a Biblically inappropriate term to apply), was God's punishment for the Jewish people's embrace of Reform Judaism and assimilation. Not far different from the distempered remarks you cite here.

I don't know about the rabbi you mentioned. I know there is a branch of Orthodox Jews, whose name I forget that is against Israel and Zionism on their interpretation of the faith. They have allied themselves with the anti-Israel forces like fools.
Keep in mind that Qaradawi is not some obscure imam. He is considered by many the leading Islamic scholar in the world. Keep in mind that his words are being repeated in many many mosques around the world-including right here in the usa.
