UC Berkeley is apparently suffering a rash of swastikas on their campus as reported by the Daily Californian.

Kudos to the students who turned out to protest the swastikas Friday afternoon. Sadly, it appears from the article that many Jewish students are less than satisfied by the support coming from the university.

Swastikas are permitted now. This isn't news. Only nooses, and pictures of Mo will get the police and the media involved!
A few nights ago I was in the UCI pub. In the men's room, there was scrawled "white power" on the wall.
So what are we supposed to do?
A clue. The guy who wrote it must have been 10 feet tall. It was way up there.
The Berkeley Students organized a rally agaianst hate speech- it was a beautiful multicultural group- students, staff, community members, faculty. In the middle of it, a professor at Cal came over to heckle the gathering. Later identified as Prof. Andrew Gutierrez (not coincidently- he was one of only 40 or so Professors from Cal who supported the divestment bill), his ravings were captured on youtube
