"Today the national AAUP announced our first-ever national electoral endorsement in the Association’s 110-year history.
The AAUP is proud to endorse Dr. Abdul El-Sayed for US Senate in the Michigan Democratic primary".
This is something that should not go unnoticed. The American Association of University Professors (AAUP), recently endorsed US Senate candidate Abou El-Sayed, in the Democratic primary in Michigan, which he won.
Most recently, we reported that AAUP chapters at Vanderbilt University and Washington University at St Louis had sent a joint letter to both universities calling on them to rescind a report which they had commissioned, which concluded that political advocacy was compromising scholarly inquiry, especially within the social sciences and humanities.
It is not just that El-Sayed is a far-leftist. What troubles me most about him is his cozy association with Hasan Piker, a despicable influencer who has reportedly stated that America deserved 9/11 and has acted as an apologist for what Hamas committed on October 7, 2023, when it committed the most unspeakable atrocities against Israel. Even his "Dr" title is open to interpretation. He holds doctoral degrees in medicine and philosophy, but reportedly has never been a practicing physician.
I assume that the AAUP will now endorse El-Sayed in the November election against Mike Rogers.
More evidence that the above-mentioned report was correct. Disgusting.
