Survey on US Muslims' Attitudes
Hat tip WND
Worldnet Daily has just posted the results of a recent poll among American Muslims as to their attitudes towards sharia, blasphemy and other issues. It shows significantly high numbers would like to see sharia implemented in the US-at least within the Muslim communities. It also shows a high percentage favoring prosecution for those guilty of "defaming" Islam.
http://www.wnd.com/2012/10/guess-who-u-s-muslims-are-voting-for/
To me these numbers are troubling even if they refer to a minority. If accurate, it is a significant minority. I place a lot of blame here on the teaching and influence of Wahhabist clerics who are allowed to come here to occupy imam positions in the mosques. Many of them have radical and hateful ideas that have no place in a free and open society. There is way too much Saudi influence in the US when it comes to imams and mosques-as well as helping establish Middle East Studies departments in our universities which are staffed with radical professors. They are working against full assimilation of Muslims into American society. In addition, I also blame the so-called leading Islamic organizations in the US like CAIR, ICNA, ISNA, and MPAC. They pose as moderates, but have an Islamist agenda. And why shouldn't they? There are all linked to the Muslim Brotherhood.
The challenge would be to see those percentages be reduced in the coming years. This has to start with the immigration process. Muslims immigrating to the US must understand they are moving to a different kind of society and that sharia law-especially with its punishment provisions-cannot be accommodated even within the Muslim communities. Hudud sharia has a death penalty for apostasy, adultery and blasphemy which has no place in American society. How could we abandon any person to such a penalty just because they are Muslim and subject to the law (sharia) of their own community?
I also think we must act diplomatically. Our leaders including the president and secretary of state, must make it clear to foreign leaders what we expect of those coming to America. If immigrants from particular countries or regions will not or cannot assimilate, we don't want them. The last thing we need are separate enclaves in the US filled with disgruntled folks who don't respect our values. That is precisely the situation that exists in Europe. Fortunately for us, most Muslim immigrants to the US have been quite different from those in Europe in terms of education and professional skills. That has helped in assimilation, but the above numbers are cause for concern.
A few years ago, the prime minister of Australia publicly told the Muslim community that if any of them did not respect Australian values and laws, they should leave. As for the rest (hopefully the majority) who want to assimilate, adopt our values, respect free speech, freedom of religion, open debate, and yes, even the right of their children to change religions, I say "Welcome".

Washington Post Op-Ed by David Ignatius
The Washington Post is hardly a conservative newspaper like its competitor, the Washington Times. The paper that took the lead with investigative reporting on Watergate has not replicated that effort when it comes to Democratic scandals.
Yet, David Ignatius has written the below op-ed in the Post that states that President Obama owes the American public a full disclosure on what happened in Benghazi, and he should do it before the election.
http://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/david-ignatius-benghazi-questions-the-administration-must-answer/2012/10/30/02d02538-22e2-11e2-8448-81b1ce7d6978_story.html
I seriously doubt Obama will do what Ignatius requests, but it is important that as many people as possible read the above op-ed. Eventually, somebody is going to talk, and I believe the results will be devastating. The public deserves to know the truth before next Tuesday.

Irma La Douce Talks About "Her First Time"
Bon jour. This is Irma, and I want to tell you about my first time. I remember my first customer when I got into this business. He was everything a first customer should be. He was such a smooth talker that he talked his way right up the stairs and into my boudoir.
But don't think that he was cheap when it came to money. He was a big spender, indeed. I don't know where all that money came from, but who's complainin'?
And he cared about me and my well-being. He made sure I had everything I needed to keep from getting any diseases. He even supplied me with my condoms and birth control pills.
What a guy!
"Thank heaven for leetle girls"
That's why I'm hoping you Americans re-elect Barack Obama. He reminds me of my very first time. In fact, all of France is hoping Obama wins. So make us Frenchies happy and re-elect Barack Obama.

The Fousesquawk Brief
Darby Shaw-voluptuous law school student
Inspired by the events in Benghazi, I am in the process of writing a screen play, loosely based on the preposterous movie, "The Pelican Brief". I am still fleshing it out, but here is the basic plot.
Darby Shaw, played by the voluptuous Julia Roberts, is a young law school student. One morning, she wakes up with her live-in boyfriend to the news of the attack in Benghazi. She decides to spend the day at the library surfing the Internet for answers. That evening, she gets back home and tells her boyfriend what she has learned.
It is a tale of international high intrigue with her own government using Benghazi as a central point for gathering weapons left over from the Ghaddafi regime in Libya and funneling them to fighters trying to overthrow the Syrian regime. The trouble is that the groups receiving the weapons are tied to elements of Al Qaeda. She also learns that in the months leading up to the attack, Washington had ignored pleas for enhanced security from those on the ground in Benghazi. Worse yet, pleas for help during the attack were ignored, and the military was ordered not to intervene. Add that to mysterious deliveries to a mysterious ship in the dead of night at a Turkish port along with efforts of the Russian secret service to stop the deliveries to their Syrian ally, and we have the makings of a real spy thriller. And only Darby Shaw can uncover the truth.
Darby and her boyfriend try to get the Justice Department under Eric Holder to examine her findings. They don't seem interested. Neither does the press. It appears nobody wants to embarrass the President, who is running for re-election and has promised to "track down the killers of the American ambassador and bring them to justice".
Almost immediately, however, Darby's lover is killed in a car bomb attack meant for her. Darby finds herself being followed by strange white guys in black suits and sunglasses driving black SUVs with the windows blacked out.
Eventually, she gains the interest of a sympathetic blogger, who believes her story and wants to get to the bottom of the Benghazi mess. What follows is a spellbinding saga of lies, betrayal, and danger as our heroes race to get the truth out as the presidential elections approach.
Well, that's as far as I have gotten. We don't have a conclusion yet. Outside of that, the other thing I have to do is find which role to fit Denzel Washington into.
Any ideas?

The Chain of Command in Benghazi
President Obama is telling everyone that as soon as he heard about the attack on our consulate in Benghazi, he gave the order for the military to do whatever they needed to do to save our people under attack. That is what he told a Denver interviewer on October 26. (I am paraphrasing.)
Within an hour of the start of the attack, Obama was in the White House with Defense Secretary Leon Panetta and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Martin Dempsey. Presumably, that is where the order was issued.
Shouldn't there be a record of the President's Executive Order? Where is it?
The next step in the chain of command was General Carter Ham, head of Africom. He is the one who would actually send the troops under his command into action. First of all, Ham has reportedly stated he never received such an order. Worse yet, the reports are that Ham actually received an order not to send his troops into Benghazi (from Simonella in Sicily). When he reportedly decided to disregard that order, he was immediately relieved of command.
Obama-Panetta-Dempsey-Ham.
If Obama gave the order to save our diplomats in Benghazi, who countermanded that order? Panetta has stated for the record that it would not have been advisable to send in troops when they didn't know what the situation on the ground was. (I am again paraphrasing.) So did Panetta refuse to carry out Obama's order? Not likely. Nor do I think Dempsey would have countermanded such an order from the President.
I am no expert, and I could be dead wrong, but my common sense tells me that the decision not to send in the military was from the Commander in Chief. There are a lot of possible reasons floating around out there, but I think his main reason was that he did not want US military forces entering Libya (without permission) and taking action that would result in the loss of Libyan lives-either innocent or otherwise. For that, he was willing to abandon his American personnel in Libya to their fate.
If you disagree, please give me a more plausible explanation.

JWeekly Article on UC Anti-Semiitsm
Hat tip OC Independent Task Force on Anti-Semitism
JWeekly, a San Francisco-based Jewish publication, has produced a long article about Jewish life on University of California campuses. The article by Dan Pine focuses on UC Berkeley, UC Santa Cruz and UC Davis. Various Jewish students were interviewed as to their experiences on campus as Jews-including the issue of anti-Semitism. Not surprisingly, the responses regarding anti-Semitism were mixed. One significant bit is the report that UC President Mark Yudof-as pressured by anti-Israel academic groups- has reportedly tabled recommendations from his own advisory group in their report on the problem of anti-Semitsm on campuses. If true, that is disappointing, but hardly surprising.
http://www.jweekly.com/article/full/66790/jewish-at-u.c.-the-real-report-by-the-students-themselves/
The report offered recommendations, among them that U.C. campuses settle on a clear definition of anti-Semitism, ban hate speech and restrict official university sponsorship of questionable events, such as Israel Apartheid Week.
The response from U.C.’s administration? Thanks but no thanks.
Yudof tabled the report indefinitely, saying that he would not restrict free speech, no matter how onerous that speech.
“In general, anti-Semitic … speech, as opposed to action of discrimination, is protected,” he told the Los Angeles Times last month.
Update: A source tells me that:
1) Yudof never "tabled the report indefinitely".

Ahmed Bedier Attacks Allen West
Cairo-born Ahmed Bedier is a tough-talking former CAIR official in Florida. In the above video, you can see him speaking at the recent Muslim Day event at the state capitol in Tallahassee. His hateful rhetoric speaks volumes about him. Yet this character sits on the Tampa Human Rights Council. (Oh well. We have our own Orange County Human Relations Commission which is a joke.)
Now he comes and attacks Allen West, who is running for re-election to Congress. He has sent out a mass e-mail urging his readers to vote for Patrick Murphy, a guy who was being arrested for drunk and disorderly in a bar and fighting a cop at the very time Allen West was being deployed into combat. Bedier, who seems to hold a few dislikes himself, calls West a "hater" of Muslims.
Ten Ahmed Bediers couldn't make one Allen West.
What Was Going on in Benghazi?
Hat tip Radical Islam.com
For several days now, various sources have been reporting the possibility that Benghazi was a center for US efforts to funnel Libyan weapons to the Syrian opposition-which includes Al Qaeda and Muslim Brotherhood factions. It has also been reported that Ambassador Stevens was involved in this venture and that his presence in Benghazi on September 11 was connected to the operation. Up until now, I was not convinced enough to run with that story. Now that Clare Lopez has written about it, I am taking it much more seriously. She is a CIA veteran with 25 years of service.

So now, in addition to the disgraceful negligence that resulted in the loss of 4 American lives in an attack on US sovereign property-our consulate, we have the possibility that once again, our administration has been facilitating the transfer of weapons to the bad guys-people only too ready to turn them on Americans.

A Plea For Whistle Blowers to Come Forward NOW on Benghazi
Hat tip PJ Media
Roger Simon, writing in PJ Media, has issued a plea for whistle blowers to step forward now about the Benghazi attack.
http://pjmedia.com/rogerlsimon/2012/10/29/email-benghazi-at-pjmedia-com/
Amen.
I firmly believe that within the US Government, there is an undercurrent among career professional employees who are sickened by the corruption and abuse of power of this administration. We have already seen it within ATF and the Justice Department, where whistle blowers have provided information to Darrell Issa's House Oversight Committee on Operation Fast and Furious. I believe State Department personnel have supplied details about the refusal of DOS to heed the calls for more security in Libya in the runup to September 11. It surely exists within our military and the CIA.
Simon is correct. This information needs to come our now before the American people, in their colossal ignorance of the truth, go to the polls and put this bunch back in power another 4 years..

Animals Being Slaughtered on French City Streets
Hat tip Gallia Watch and Riposte Laique
The French public is in an uproar because the Islamic holiday Eid al Adha has just concluded in France (October 26-28), and the slaughterhouses cannot provide enough Halal meat for its Muslim population. Celebration of this holiday involves ritual (Halal) slaughter of animals for consumption. The result is that animals were literally being slaughtered in ritual style on the streets of French cities. CAIR Action Alert: Anti-Islam Book Found in Broward County School Library
Hat tip to ACT for America
"Islam And Terrorism: What the Quran really teaches about Christianity, violence and the goals of the Islamic jihad" by Mark A. Gabriel.
"Be on the lookout"
The Florida chapter of the Council of America Islamic Relations has sent out an "action alert"-yes, an action alert- to its followers. It seems someone has discovered a book in a Broward County School Library that is anti-Islam. CAIR is on the case making a complaint to school board officials. Supposedly, an "investigation" is underway to determine if this is an "isolated incident", or if other copies have found their way in to other libraries. Here is the report from their own website.
http://fl.cair.com/SFL/Articles.aspx?cid=3543&aid=3543
So now we are deciding what kinds of books can be in our school (or public) libraries? Will the school board cave in and remove the book? Or will they tell CAIR that it is part of free speech on this most critical of issues facing the world today?
"Into the fire!"
I don't know anything about the author of this book other than he is reportedly a convert to Christianity originally from Egypt. I don't know what is in the book, but unless it advocates something like murder or genocide, it will be hard to justify removing it. Here is the Amazon.com description.

Retired Admiral Speaks Out on Benghazi
Hat tip Hot Air and Gateway Pundit
Retired Admiral James Lyons has written an op-ed in the Washington Times. Like many of us, he can't understand why American military forces were not brought to bear from nearby Sigonella (Sicily) during the 7-hour attack in Benghazi that killed four American who were desperately calling for help.
http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2012/oct/28/lyonsobama-needs-come-clean-what-happened-benghazi/?page=all#pagebreak
As Admiral Lyons points out, our forces were more than willing. Who kept them from entering the battle?
Here is another point to ponder. General Carter Ham, the commander of Africom was reportedly relieved of duty as he was in the process of ignoring orders to stand down.
http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2012/10/was-africom-general-replaced-for-his-efforts-to-save-benghazi-security-officials/
This can be cleared up by sworn testimony. We will not see any Senate hearings until November 15, and as long as the Democrats control the Senate, watch for Harry Reid to limit the damage. I suspect in the end, we are going to have to depend on inside whistle blowers to uncover this shameful episode-just as in Fast and Furious.

More From the Congressional Report on Fast and Furious
Hat tip Daily Caller
This morning, I posted a preliminary report on the 2nd Congressional Report on Fast and Furious. There is more. It suggests that the methods used by Fast and Furious were part of a deliberate design by high ranking Justice officials.
http://dailycaller.com/2012/10/29/report-fast-and-furious-a-product-of-doj-deliberate-strategy-laid-out-by-eric-holder-other-senior-obama-officials/
“He (Holder) spoke about the development of a prosecution and enforcement strategy with respect to firearms trafficking, noting that the ‘administration launched a major new effort to break the backs of the cartels,’”
Of course. By furnishing them high powered weapons. When those weapons were later found at the scene of murders, we could identify the gun store in the US they came from.
Wonderful.
Result? 200-300 dead Mexicans, one dead US Border Patrol agent, and likely one dead US ICE agent-all killed by those weapons. And to compound it all, we have Holder and other DOJ officials committing perjury before Congress to cover up their actions while throwing ATF agents in Arizona under the bus.

Obama's Obfuscations Continue
Hat tip The Blaze
President Obama spoke with the Morning Joe show on MSNBC today. As is his custom, when asked about Libya, he continued the line that he is committed to bringing the killers to justice.
http://www.theblaze.com/stories/the-stories-keep-changing-president-stonewalls-morning-joes-libya-questions/
That is not the point, Mr President. Yes, we want those bastards brought to justice. The burning question now is whether our military was stopped from responding to the Benghazi attack-specifically providing fire on the attackers from the air. On October 26, President Obama told a Denver talk show host that he issued orders to save our personnel in Benghazi no matter what it took. However, that slightly conflicts with what Defense Secretary Leon Panetta told a Pentagon news conference that it was not wise to send in troops to a situation where they didn't know what was happening.
It has also been reported that Tyrone Woods, prior to be killed at the CIA annex, had painted a laser on his attackers who were firing mortars at his position (and eventually killed him). Is that not an indication that he knew there was somebody out there in the skies prepared to fire? That is one point that needs to be investigated.
Folks, if you are not following this Benghazi story, you should be-especially before you vote on November 6.

http://www.theblaze.com/stories/the-stories-keep-changing-president-stonewalls-morning-joes-libya-questions/
Who is the Thug, Governor Jerry Brown?
California Governor, "Run Down" Jerry Brown is in the middle of trying to get a $30 billion tax increase through the November elections as well as his high speed train project. At the same time, CBS has done an investigation on the state rental of new pick up trucks for state Cal Trans (State Dept. of Transportation) employees to drive between their homes and offices. Their investigation turned up numerous instances of employees using the vehicles for personal use.
When they confronted Brown with their videos, the governor got angry-at the reporters. Very angry. Watch what happened.

California State University Has a Question to Answer
"Is it permissible under Cal. Gov. Code 8314 and CSU policy for Prof. Klein to use the CSUN web server to advance his personal and political goals?"
Below is a letter sent by my friends at the AMCHA Initiative to the general counsel of the California State University system asking a direct question: Given previous rulings they have issued on other matters, what is their position on a Cal State Northridge professor using his math class to further his personal political agenda? The professor in question is David Klein, of whom we have written previously.
http://amchainitiative.org/amcha-co-founders-send-letter-to-csu-general-counsel-regarding-the-illegality-of-professors-anti-semitic-website/
My own position on this is clear; Students and their families are not paying tuition to sit in a classroom and be bombarded with their professor's personal views on the world. It is unprofessional. My students at UC Irvine never get my personal views on anything. They are there to learn English.
Maybe Professor Klein should realize that his students are there to learn math.
Persecution of Coptic Christians Continues in Egypt

Congress Issues 2nd (of 3) Reports on Fast and Furious
Hat tip Daily Caller
Senate ranking member of the Judiciary Committee, Charles Grassley (R-IA) and Darrell Issa (R-CA), chairman of the House Oversight Committee, have released their second report on the failures of the Justice Department in Operation Fast and Furious. There is yet one report to come. The one just released singles out several high-ranking Justice officials.
http://dailycaller.com/2012/10/29/congressional-fast-and-furious-report-places-blame-on-senior-justice-department-officials/
I can hardly wait for the third report, which surely will focus on You-Know-Who.
I also hope the report will talk about the failures of Homeland Security Director Janet Napolitano, who has stood in the shadows like a potted plant in the face of the death of one of her Border Patrol agents, Brian Terry, by these weapons, as well as the possible connection in the death of ICE agent Jaime Zapata. To say she has been negligent is to insult negligence.

Holy Land Foundation Appeal Denied by Supreme Court
The US Supreme Court has denied an appeal by defendants from the Holy Land Foundation trial in 2007. The case involved monies being funneled to overseas terrorist organization through US-based Islamic charities.

There is yet one piece of unfinished business in the Northern District of Texas. The US Attorney's Office in Dallas has reportedly prepared a subsequent indictment on other figures around the country in this case. That indictment was reportedly quashed by the Justice Department in Washington. As long as president Obama and Eric Holder are running things, that case will not be opened.
That will require a new administration.

Has the Theft Already Started in Ohio?

It's called the "Democratic Ground Game", and it may already be starting in Ohio. If you think we don't need voter ID laws, read this report from Human Events.

If this is true and it results in state and national elections being won, our democracy isn't worth a dime.

Final Jobs Report Before Election May Be...Delayed

The Department of Labor is announcing that the latest jobs report may be delayed.
http://hotair.com/archives/2012/10/29/breaking-department-of-labor-to-delay-friday-jobs-report-until-after-the-election/
Keep in mind that Labor Secretary Hilda Solis, a political appointee, was a big union supporter before Obama brought her to Washington. This would not surprise me in the slightest assuming the news is bad. Why not hold off until after the election?

Daniel Greenfield's Take on Why We Didn't Save Our People in Benghazi
Hat tip Frontpage Magazine and National Review Online
There are a lot of theories floating around the Internet as to why we didn't send in our planes to attack the attackers who were storming our consulate and CIA annex in Benghazi last month. One theory, based on an anonymous source, suggests that the administration was trying to cover up some funneling of weapons to the Syrian opposition that the Russians had gotten wind of. I'll need more documentation and named sources before I go with that one.
Daniel Greenfield, however, writing in Front Page Magazine, has a very plausible explanation. The last thing the administration wanted was our military flying into Libya and strafing Libyans from the air.
http://frontpagemag.com/2012/dgreenfield/why-our-forces-were-told-to-stand-down-in-benghazi/
We already know that Defense Secretary Leon Panetta was in the White House with the President within an hour of the start of the attack. Panetta subsequently has taken the position that it wasn't wise to send American troops into harm's way without knowing what the situation was. Yet, on October 26, the President told a Denver interviewer..........(Hat tip National Review Online)
“The minute I found out what was happening . . . I gave the directive to make sure we are securing our personnel and doing whatever we need to do. I guarantee you everybody in the CIA and military knew the number-one priority was making sure our people are safe.”
Where is that order, and if it was made, why was it not obeyed?
Does it stretch the imagination to suspect that Panetta was given his instructions on what not to do from the President? The theory may be wrong, but Panetta can be asked the question by Congress. Is there a reporter out there who will dare to ask the same question of the President?
Certainly not Brian Williams. He had his chance and he blew it-purposely in my view.
Update: Daily Caller has this Fox interview of Charles Woods by Gerald Rivera.
