Southern Poverty Law Center's Unfair Accusations Against the Counter Jihad Coalition

The Southern Poverty Law Center has unfairly lumped the Counter Jihad Coalition together with their list of hate groups in the US. The latest attack is reported in the web site Santa Monica Next.

http://www.santamonicanext.org/2017/08/southern-poverty-law-center-identifies-hate-group-activity-in-santa-monica/

The SPLC once again shows its slanted political agenda. While the Daily Stormer is indeed a racist, anti-Jewish hate group, the Counter Jihad Coalition is not. The CJC does not engage in racist or hateful rhetoric towards Muslims or engage in any illegal or violent behavior. What CJC does is peacefully educate the public about the troubling parts of Islamic ideology that lead to violence and intolerance. The public has every right to discuss Islam and whether its teachings contribute to the terror and religious intolerance around the world we see on a daily basis. The CJC has never argued that the rights of peaceful Muslims should be curtailed in any way. The CJC has never argued that all or even most Muslims are terrorists. What the CJC does is call out organizations like CAIR, MPAC and others which are Islamist in nature-meaning they want to see Islam become dominant in the land. These arguments are also made by Islamic reformers like Zuhdi Jasser and others.

Let me be clear. I work with these people. I am one of them. If you visit one of their stands where they pass out literature, the only unruly behavior you see is on the part of certain Muslims who threaten violence and demand that the CJC stand be removed.
The media should scrutinize the accusations of the SPLC carefully before repeating their claims. The SPLC has done good work in the past and many of the groups and individuals they list deserve to be called out. The CJC is not such a group. If groups like CJC cannot express their concerns about Islam, then we will all have to shut up and submit to a supremacist ideology.

NBC Fires Matt Lauer: Is It a Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy?

Matt Lauer is the latest head to roll as a woman has accused him of inappropriate sexual conduct. The reaction of NBC was swift. "Today Show" fans woke up to learn that Lauer was gone.

http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2017/11/29/nbc-announces-today-show-co-host-matt-lauer-fired-due-to-inappropriate-sexual-behavior-at-work.html

Thus far, there is no word from Lauer. I suppose he could blame it all on a "vast right wing conspiracy".

She was talking to none other than Matt Lauer on the Today Show.

Swedish Democrats Campaign Ad

Jimmie Ã…kesson and his Swedish Democrat party have produced this ad for next year's election. It is in Swedish but has English sub-titles.

If Sweden were a sane country, one would think the Swedish Democrats would easily win the election given the horrific conditions that exist in the country today. Unfortunately, Sweden is not a sane country, and that means the people will dutifully re-elect the same old politicians, who will continue the open borders policies.

*If It's Tuesday, This Must Be Belgium

Police were forced to use a water cannon to control the crowd

It's Tuesday, and yes, we now take you to Brussels, where some 500 Moroccans celebrated their country's ( Morocco not Belgium) soccer team qualifying for the World Cup by rioting in the streets of Brussels, injuring over 20 cops and according to some sources, destroying all the Christmas decorations. This actually occurred on a Saturday (November 11). All the photos and videos can be seen on the below links.

The EU's Clueless Leader

Pierre Laval: "We need more Germans in France"

Jean Claude Juncker (listening for a clue)
"Without millions of Africans,  Europe will be lost"

Jean-Claude Juncker is a hack from Luxembourg, a country that has produced or achieved nothing of note. Yet he is the current president of the EU. As such, he is overseeing the destruction of Europe by allowing in literally millions of poor young men from the Middle East and Africa, overwhelmingly Muslims. The result has been catastrophic. Only the Eastern European member nations are refusing to play along with this continental suicide. For that the EU's western leaders are threatening dire punishments. Hopefully, the eastern nations will get thrown out or simply leave the EU and let it collapse under its own bureaucratic weight.

Now comes Juncker telling us that without adding millions of poor African Muslims with no skills, Europe will be "lost".

http://www.breitbart.com/london/2017/11/28/eu-president-without-millions-african-migrants-europe-lody/

Somebody needs to tell Mr Juncker that Europe is already lost.

If Europe wants to accept African immigrants, fine. Do it the legal and sensible way. Invite Africans with education and/or skills to immigrate. Do background checks for criminal history. Invite those who will assimilate and add to the society. But don't just throw open your doors and allow anyone who can make it to stay. Europe has already learned the hard way that Muslims are the least likely to assimilate and accept European values.

But what a statement from Juncker. This is akin to Pierre Laval telling the French in 1940 that without millions of Germans, France would be lost. Actually, he kind of did tell them that. For his trouble he went to a firing squad after WW II ended.

Here's today's news from multi-cultural Sweden. Yesterday it was a gang rape outside Stockholm. Today it's immigrants throwing hand grenades at cop cars. You can read it all below. There is no sense in me editorializing yet again about the mess Sweden is in. They made their own bed.

My Letter to UCI's New Narratives

Reference is made to my earlier posts on UC Irvine's New Narratives program. The latest event on November 16 was disrupted.

http://garyfouse.blogspot.com/2017/11/ucis-new-narratives-disrupted.html

Below is a letter I have just sent to the New Narratives program challenging their refusal  to include conservative speakers as opposed to those with the same old tired grievances.

To whom it may concern,

As a former part-time teacher at UCI Ext. I noted with interest the recent disruption of the latest New Narratives event on Nov 16. I found the disruptors' behavior disrespectful and contemptible. Yet it seems that students engage in that behavior with impunity at UCI given the May 18, 2016 and May 10, 2017 incidents involving SJP. The students involved in his latest disruption could not even articulate what they were upset about.

For New Narratives, it seems to me this is a case of the chickens coming home to roost. NN is nothing more than a leftist activist enterprise. I have already inquired as to the possibility of inviting more conservative speakers with a more positive attitude about our country. I suggested people like Thomas Sowell or Larry Elder as speakers. It is obvious that such viewpoints are not up for discussion at UCI in New Narratives.

It is fine to focus on events that pertain to minorities. Why can that not include minority figures who happen to be conservative? There are black conservatives, Hispanic conservatives, etc., people who have real courage to voice their views. Why not allow them to offer a "New" perspective to your audiences?

As long as New Narratives excludes such people and refuses to provide any balance, you have no credibility.

Sincerely,

Gary Fouse

Insane Interfaith Collaboration With the Boston Islamic Cultural Center

Hat tip Americans for Peace and Tolerance

In spite of warnings over the years from Charles Jacobs of Americans for Peace and Tolerance, Boston's rabbis continue to partner with the terrorist-supporting Boston Islamic Cultural Center in Roxbury. In  this latest article, Jacobs and Ilya Feoktistov feature Rabbi Howard Jaffe of Lexington, Massachusetts. He brought in three Islamists to his synagogue. They spouted their anti-US poison and even collected donations from the congregation.

Sweden's Latest: Woman Gang Raped by 20 Men-Neighbors Refuse to Help

Hat tip Vlad Tepes

It happened in Fitja, a southern suburb of Stockholm. A Swedish woman was gang raped by up to 20 men. When she sought assistance from neighbors, she was refused.

Pakistani Boy Arrested for Raping.....a Chicken!!

Hat tip Jihad Watch

"No thanks. I'm up for some chicken today."

(Why are there so many Pakistani-related stories today?)

Anyway, a 14-year-old boy has been arrested in Punjab Province for having "non-consensual" intercourse with a chicken. (The chicken died). According to the story, there were two witnesses to the incident.

https://www.jihadwatch.org/2017/11/pakistan-muslim-boy-arrested-for-raping-chicken#comment-1782365

However, an alert reader of the above article pointed out that this case will probably be thrown out. Why? There are only two witnesses. According to Islamic law, there must be four male witnesses in a rape case.

What's Being Preached in Tennessee by Imam

Hat tip Algemeiner

“Oh Allah, inflict Your revenge upon them,” Sharif continued. “Do not let their banners fly high, and do not let them achieve their goals. Make a deterrent example out of them. Oh Allah, defeat them, convulse them, and support us.”
- AhmedulHadi Sharif

That is what a Somali-born  imam named AhmedulHadi Sharif told his flock in Antioch, Tennessee four months ago. It has just come to light.

https://www.algemeiner.com/2017/11/26/tennessee-imam-accuses-zionists-of-designs-on-sacred-islamic-shrine-in-mecca/

This is the problem that American Jewish and Christian leaders are afraid to even admit exists. They are very comfortable talking about anti-semitism on the part of the alt-right, KKK, Neo Nazis and Trump voters, but will not discuss Islamic anti-semitism, which is by far the largest portion of anti-semitism as it exists today. It's like German Jews complaining about French anti-semitism in the 1930s.

UCI's New Narratives Disrupted

"We're f------- smart. We read books. We know s---."

This is a case of the chickens coming home to roost. At a recent event (date not specified in the article), UC Irvine held another one of its New Narratives forums, instituted by Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs Thomas Parham. Thus far, these events have featured nothing but left wing voices.  When I attended one in April, I followed up by asking Dr Parham if and when they would invite more conservative voices for the sake of balance. Since then, according to their website, there haven't been any events, of which I took note just recently. I guess this one below didn't count since it was disrupted by a bunch of no-nothings who couldn't even articulate what they were protesting about. Campus Reform obtained a video which is contained below.

https://www.campusreform.org/?ID=10182

Why in the Hell were these disrupting students not evicted? How many times did Dr Parham repeat that he would be glad to meet with them in another setting to discuss their concerns? How many times did he warn them that they were engaging in disruptive conduct? And they continued with zero consequences. This is the same weakness that we see over and over and over from one campus to another. What an exercise in fecklessness. I saw that Parham's predecessor, Manuel Gomez was there. He was a disaster in that position before he retired. In fact, it's useless to call for new leadership at UCI because the next ones in line will be just as bad.

And just what were these idiots protesting? That Milo Yiannopoulos had appeared at UCI? What about all the other hate speakers from the left like Amir Abdel Malik Ali, Abdul Alim Musa, Mohamed al Asi and so many others-people who came and screamed their hatred against Jews?

And these kids think they are f----- smart? That they know s---? They are idiots. They should get a head start on life and start flipping burgers. Then they can see how hard life really is.

*Update: Here is the report of the event by the campus newspaper, New University. The event was on November 16.

CAIR Florida Director Gives Support to Islamist Conference in Virginia

Hat tip Huffington Post (Ouch)

On November 18, a group of Sunni Muslim supremacists held a fundraiser in Springfield, Virginia. Some Ahmadiya Muslims attended incognito and had to endure speeches decrying their version of Islam and calling for their deaths. Some speakers even called for the US to outlaw the Ahmadiya Muslim sect, which Sunnis consider heretics. In addition, the event featured speakers trashing Shia, Jews and Christians.

All of this in America.

Here is an article contributed to the Huffington Post by an American Ahmadi Muslim, Khashif Choudhry, who attended the conference. A separate post by Choudhry was cross-posted by Fousesquawk  earlier this evening. This second post by Choudhry includes interesting information on the controversial head of CAIR in Florida, Hassan Shibly, who sent his greetings to the gathering and promise of full support to this bunch of supremacists.

https://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/like-white-supremacy-another-monster-rears-its-head_us_5a174fa6e4b0250a107bfe94

“Salam Mualana Omar, this is Hassan Shibly.. You have every single right under the first amendment of the U.S. Constitution to protect your deen (religion)... There is nothing wrong with all of you making clear the traditional orthodox Sunni perspective.. May Allah reward you guys. You guys are doing very important work... and you shoudn’t be bullied by somebody who is upset because they have a fringe opinion that is heretical...You are well within your right to do that. You are doing very important work. I am envious of you. Allah is using you to protect the honor and image of Rasulullah (saw). What a blessing!! What a blessing!! If there is anything we could do to support you in that effort, you could definitely count on us.”
-Hassan Shibly

Yes, indeed. Scream your Sunni hatred of Ahmadiya and Shia Muslims and tell the US Govt. it should outlaw them. Scream your hatred of Christians and Jews. After all, you have the right!

By the way, Shibly portrays himself as a moderate Muslim, a bridge builder and human rights activist. Nonsense. Here is the  book on Hassan Shibly (Hat tip Investigative Project on Terrorism).

https://www.investigativeproject.org/2986/cair-taps-hizballah-apologist-for-tampa-office

Of course, you will not hear any of this kind of discourse when you attend interfaith events (in which people like Shibly may be speaking). The people who attended that event in Virginia and Shibly are nothing more than religious bigots.

Ahmadiyas Expose Radical Muslim Gathering in Virginia

Mufti Habibur Rehman Ludhyanvi, the keynote speaker at the event, had flown in from Pakistan to speak to the gathering.
-Huffington Post

The Ahmadiya branch of Islam is considered heretical by mainstream Muslims because they believe in a latter day prophet from the 19th century. Therefore, the branch, which was founded in the British colony of India and mostly  centered in present-day Pakistan, is badly persecuted in that country and other Muslim countries where they reside. The Ahmadiyas have a good record when it comes to not being involved in terrorism. While the do subscribe to the Koran and revere Mohammad, along with the Sufis, they offer some hope of a peaceful coexistence between religions. Unfortunately, they are a small minority.

On November 18, Ahmadis managed to infiltrate a fund raiser featuring a speech by a Pakistani cleric in Springfield, Virginia. What they came away with is evidence of the type of thinking against non-Muslims (and Ahmadiyas) that has no place in America. The Ahmadiyas have posted this report in their newspaper, Rabwah Times.

https://www.rabwah.net/american-islamists-hold-fundraiser-virginia/

"We went undercover to report on the day-long event which was organized by two U.S. registered charities, Idara Dawat-O-Irshad and Khatme Nubuwwat Center, both of which enjoy IRS tax-exempt status."

"The event’s keynote speaker was Habib-ur-Rehman Ludhianvi, a visiting Islamic cleric from Pakistan. In a 2016 piece, Ludhianvi who serves as the editor of monthly Millia magazine claimed that America was behind the assassination of former Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto."

“Have all Muslim lawyers died, why cant they learn and understand U.S. laws and then go present their case in front of the judge and explain that Qadianis [Ahmadis] are disrespecting Islam……..Islam is our faith and they [Ahmadis] are portraying their religious beliefs as Islamic beliefs ……. it should be made criminal for them to do so”

"During a Question and Answer session, Pakistani speaker Habib-ur-Rehman Ludhianvi warned the U.S. Government to “stop giving refuge to the adherents of the Qadiani faith [Ahmadis]” who he claimed were worse than Jews & Christians."

It seems there was a heavy Pakistani influence in this gathering.

Here is another report from an Ahmadi Muslim who attended. It appears in the Huffington Post.

https://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/at-an-extremist-rally-near-nations-capital-armed_us_5a10e147e4b0e6450602ebbb

A Sick Response to the Sinai Massacre

https://twitter.com/mikopeled/status/934071165039017988

Being a pro-Israel activist while teaching at the University of California at Irvine, I had a chance to see, hear and challenge my share of misfits who came to speak on behalf of the pro-Palestinian forces on campus. From George Galloway to Hatem Bazian, to Norman Finkelstein, to Amir Abdel Malik Ali, to Omar Barghouti, to Abdul Alim Musa and many others, the list of obnoxious characters has been long. One of the most obnoxious, however, has been the Israeli-born, son of a prominent Israeli general, Miko Peled. This character now makes his residence in Southern California, which allows him to travel from one speaking venue to another (usually university campuses) not only taking the Palestinian side of the conflict, but challenging Israel's very right to exist.

Peled is back in the news following this week's tragic massacre of over 300 Sufi Muslims by Muslim terrorists (who consider peaceful Sufis as heretics) at a mosque in Egypt's Sinai Peninsula. In the above tweet, Peled laid the blame directly on the government of  Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and his "collaboration" with Israel.

Leaving aside the obvious refusal to blame the true culprits (Islamic terrorists mostly likely affiliated with ISIS), Peled talks of "regional instability" caused by el-Sisi's "criminal collaboration" with Israel as causing the carnage. What Peled leaves out is that el-Sisi and the Egyptian military overthrew the Muslim Brotherhood government of Mohamed Morsi, a government that would have led their country back into a disastrous war with Israel if allowed to remain in power. You talk about instability. El-Sisi is no Jeffersonian democrat, but what is wrong with keeping the peace with Israel except in Peled's fevered imagination?

I had my own chance to listen to Peled's poison when he came to speak at UC Irvine in 2013. On this occasion, Peled showed his temper when he stopped in mid speech to protest my videotaping him. He lost that battle as the dean of students had to inform his Muslim Student Union sponsors that I had every right to videotape. Peled thought I was breaking "the rules" because the MSU had said no videotaping would be allowed. He and the MSU were never taught the law, however, as it applies to public events.

Peled no doubt would prefer to see Egypt go to war with Israel (and emerge victorious) something that isn't going to happen with el-Sisi in power. In the meantime, Peled is going to have to stew in his own well-known anger. He is truly a pathetic figure.

Vehicle Attack in Cuxhafen, Germany

A 29-year-old man identified by police as Syrian in origin is in custody early Sunday morning after running his car into a group of pedestrians in the northern German city of Cuxhafen. The incident may be connected to a fight which occurred in a local disco.  Six people are injured, four seriously. Police believe the act was intentional.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6canqcqBDj8&feature=youtu.be

Vlad Tepes blog is working on the sub-titling of this video.

Update: The driver only identified as a 29-year-old man of Syrian origin was believed to be drunk. He tried to flee on foot, but was held down by witnesses until police arrived. As yet the motive is unclear, and police are not calling it an act of terror.

Boston Islamic Society

It is hard to find a mosque in the US with more radicals and terrorists among its alumni than the Boston Islamic Cultural Center in Roxbury. The below article from Islamist Watch lists them and adds one more to the list based on inflammatory anti-Jewish rants. This guy, who has been invited to lecture the mosque's seminary, has the improbable name of  Abdelrahman Murphy.

I kid you not.

http://www.islamist-watch.org/blog/2017/11/from-one-scandal-to-another?utm_source=Middle+East+Forum&utm_campaign=3c585cbf16-westrop_iw_2017_11_17&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_086cfd423c-3c585cbf16-33930853&goal=0_086cfd423c-3c585cbf16-33930853

I would like to add here that for years, Charles Jacobs of Americans for Peace and Tolerance, has been writing about the radical bent of this mosque. For that, he has been excoriated within his own Jewish community of Boston because the powers that be in that community have been too invested in interfaith events with the mosque.

But here is the good news: I can well envision the composition of a host of new Irish drinking songs about Abdelrahman Murphy. This should be even better than the Ballad of Hairy Mary and Sweaty Betty.

"The Wake of Paddy Abdelrahman Murphy"

OC Register Calls for Napolitano's Ouster

                                                                                     Janet Napolitano in happier times

When I wrote my last piece on the disastrous tenure of Janet Napolitano as president of the University of California, I didn't expect that the Orange County Register would follow suit with a call for her ouster.

http://www.ocregister.com/2017/11/25/uc-president-janet-napolitano-needs-to-go/

"Napolitano needs to resign, or the Board of Regents needs to fire her."
-OC Register

By any measure, Napolitano has been a failure as UC president. When it was revealed that her office had interfered with and attempted to affect  the results of a state audit, she should have been fired right then and there. Instead the UC Regents, who rebuked her, still gave her a vote of confidence by allowing her to remain. Napolitano, much like Hillary Clinton, has too much of a tin ear to quit. She will continue to stumble on until the University has become something of a joke instead of a world class operation, which the Register seems to think it still is.

Rusty Kennedy Hangs Up His Spurs

And who is Rusty Kennedy, you ask?

You don't wanna know.

But you will because Rusty is the topic of the article. That's because Rusty is retiring after spending the last 4 decades at the public trough heading up the Orange Country Human Relations Commission as well as something just recently created called the Orange County Human Relations Council, .
The latter was designed to confuse the OC Board of Supervisors and the public at large who were demanding to know where the public money was going and the justification to continue funding these white elephant organizations.

Now, perhaps, seeing the writing on the wall, Rusty is retiring.

https://mynewsla.com/orange-county/2017/11/22/vilified-and-praised-oc-human-relations-fixture-retiring-after-40-years/

I have been vilified and praised often by the same people at different times, so it’s the irony of putting ourselves between difficult conflicts and trying to find common ground,” he said."

I'll say, and count me as one of his critics. I first encountered Kennedy in 2008 when someone suggested I write to him with my concerns about anti-semitism at UC Irvine, where I was teaching part-time. What a mistake that was.

Subsequently, I leanrned that Kennedy was nothing but a liberal hack who could care less about anti-semitism at UC Irvine. And why should he? Rusty is a supporter of the Palestinian cause. Why do I say that? Because Rusty trotted off to South Africa to participate as OUR representative in the 2001 Durban conference that accused Israel of all kinds of human rights violations. He also reportedly found time to help fete Yasir Arafat on the occasion of his being given the Nobel Peace Prize (for some inexplicable reason). Rusty picks and chooses among his victims in the time-honored, politically-correct manner.

But if Rusty had his enemies, he also had plenty of friends. Like Muzammil Siddiqi, the head imam at the Garden Grove mosque, who Rusty awarded with one of his annual "Rusty" awards for being a "bridge builder". Never mind that Siddiqi has allowed his mosque to be used for the Students for Justice in Palestine and UC Irvine Muslim Student Union to  assemble their mock "apartheid wall" at the annual may bash-Israel week of events. This is the same imam who hosted the so-called Blind Sheikh (Omar Abdel Rahman) at his mosque in 1992 and allowed him to give a  sermon which he (Siddiqi) translated. Some bridge builder.

And what did we get for all the funding to the OCHRC over the decades? Aside from press conferences and statements to the press, we got a thin pamphlet every year with charts representing Orange County's  number of hate crimes perpetrated by this group against that group along with dire warnings that there was a 20% increase in hate crimes by group A against group B (from 4 to 5)-or some such nonsense.

Now that the old lion is stepping down, maybe the OC Board of Supervisors will get up enough courage to put this/these organization(s) to bed once and for all. We don't need them. The people of Orange County get along pretty well, and there is nothing to suggest that it is thanks to Rusty Kennedy.

Anti-Semitism Addressed in Univ of Illinois Campus Paper

It is always a positive sign when the topic of anti-semitism reaches the pages of any university campus newspaper. So it is with the Daily Illini (University of Illinois) as an op-ed is running this week regarding a House of Representatives hearing on the matter.

https://dailyillini.com/opinions/2017/11/21/letter-editor-congressional-hearing-anti-semitism-implications-campus/

In my view, there is no forum where a discussion of anti-semitism is more relevant and necessary than a university campus. This is where the problem of anti-semitism is most acute in the US.

Another Horrific Islamic Attack: Egypt

Egypt is reeling after an attack on a Sufi mosque in the Sinai Peninsula. At least 235 people are dead after gunmen attacked the mosque and gunned down worshipers as they fled the mosque.

http://www.foxnews.com/world/2017/11/24/trump-condemns-horrible-and-cowardly-egypt-mosque-attack-that-left-at-least-235-dead-109-wounded.html

Do not make the mistake of thinking that this attack was carried out by Christians or every day "Islamophobes". This was an Islamic attack, most likely by ISIS. Sufist Muslims, who practice a mystical form of Islam, are normally not affiliated with extremist violence and terrorism and are considered as heretics by mainstream Muslims. In addition, the military leadership under President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, is opposed to the extremists, who previously enjoyed favor under the Muslim Brotherhood government of Mohamad Morsi, who in turn, was overthrown by the military.

The current Egyptian government is fighting Islamic terror. They were not supported by the Obama  administration, which favored the deposed Muslim Brotherhood. The government of El-Sisi should be supported in that effort.

Hatem Bazian's Latest Expression of Jew Hatred

Hat tip Canary Mission

UC Berkeley professor Hatem Bazian, a co-founder of Students for Justice in Palestine, has another expression of Jew hated on his resume after he re-tweeted an anti-semitic message.

http://mailchi.mp/canarymission/exclusive-sjp-founder-hatem-bazian-caught-in-another-anti-semitism-scandal?e=b34afdd35a

Bazian's "apology" about being careless doesn't wash. This is the guy who reportedly once told a student audience to go count the number of buildings on campus with Jewish names on them. In addition, Bazian is co-founder of the Islamophobia Research and Documentation Center at UCB. One would think such a person would be more careful  and sensitive before re-tweeting such offensive material about other groups.

If UCB had any decency at all, it would send this guy packing. Even by UCB's shoddy standards, this man is an embarrassment to a once proud institution. The problem is that there are so many like him on campus.

The Problem of Muslim Prayers in Two European Countries: France and Italy

Hat tip Gates of Vienna

This article first appeared in Eagle Rising.

Image result for muslim street prayers in paris

Aside from the obvious problems facing Western European countries with the Islamic invasion in terms of terror, crime, riots, rape, and public welfare costs, France and Italy are faced with the ever growing problem of Islamic prayers. While the faithful are obligated to pray five times a day, the holy day of Friday is a particular problem when larger crowds turn out for services. In France and Italy, there is not enough space in terms of mosques. The result in France is large crowds of Muslims taking over sidewalks and public streets in order to perform their prayers on Fridays. The inconvenience to residents, drivers and store owners is obvious. Some French protesters are starting to turn up and protest the use of public space for Muslim prayers.

Now comes forth a Muslim religious leader named Abdallah Zekri, who argues that the solution is simply to multiply the number of mosques. To some that might seem like reasonable solution except when you consider that the French state is obligated to fund construction of such mosques.

In Italy, especially in large cities like Rome and Milan, Muslims have simply taken over basements and garage spaces beneath large apartment buildings without the permission of owners or tenants. Hundreds of men come at all hours of the day to pray, somehow provided with keys to the outer gates and entrances to the underground areas. Complaints to the local authorities go nowhere. Some reporters have been assaulted while investigating the problem. The Lega Nord party headed by Matteo Salvini, which opposes unfettered migration to Italy, has also investigated these clandestine "mosques" and made it a key campaign issue.

In both of these countries, the twin issues of Islam and mass immigration are tearing apart the social fabric of the societies. Simply building more mosques may alleviate the problem of takeovers of public and private property for prayers, but the larger problems remain.

Linda Sarsour on an Anti-Semitism Panel?

Hat tip Campus Reform

Translation:

Adolf Hitler speaks in Vienna on 9 April 1938

(below text added by me)

Israel and anti-semitism

Struggle against anti-semitism

Sponsored by Jewish Voice for Hitler
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

New University in New York has to take the award for chutzpah. They are holding a seminar on anti-semitism, and one of the panelists is none other than anti-semite herself, Linda Sarsour.

https://www.campusreform.org/?ID=10185

"Antisemitism is harmful and real. But when antisemitism is redefined as criticism of Israel, critics of Israeli policy become accused and targeted more than the growing far-right.
Join us for a discussion on how to combat antisemitism today."

The description reveals the obvious contradiction in this event. In addition, it is being co-sponsored by none other than the virulently anti-Israel organization, Jewish Voice for Peace. How do these people purport to combat anti-semitism? This will be nothing more than an attack on Israel and a blaming of conservatives, and Trump supporters for rising anti-semitism, while ignoring the vastly more pervasive anti-semitism within the teachings of Islam-which Sarsour represents.

Germans Stop ISIS Terror Plot Involving Syrian Refugees

Hat tip Breitbart

For how long have we been crying to the heavens that admitting Syrian refugees was a recipe for disaster? ISIS had even told us they were embedding their own terrorists among the refugees to strike at the West. And still our nations admit them even to the point of ignoring the Christians in Iraq and Syria who really need rescuing.

Now you have Germany, ever so conscious of their history, going overboard to lead the way in being humane. I severely criticize Angela Merkel, the leader of that country for her insane policies when it comes to immigration. But I defend Germany as today being a decent and humane country.

But Germany's hospitality is being badly abused by so many (not all) of the people who have arrived from the Middle East and Africa. Crime, rape, and violent attacks are happening all over the country-in addition to the Islamic terrorist threat. Innocent Germans have died as a result of Merkel's policies.

Now we learn of the latest news from Germany, that 6 Syrian refugees have been arrested plotting terror attacks on Germany's famed Christmas markets.

http://www.breitbart.com/london/2017/11/21/six-members-isis-cell-planning-christmas-market-attack-arrested-terror-raids/

When will leaders like Angela Merkel say that enough is enough?

*Update: Germans have released the six for lack of evidence though they still believe there are ties to ISIS.

Sexual Abuse in Pakistan Madrassas (Islamic Schools)

Hat tip Vlad Tepes and Gates of Vienna

The Associated Press has produced this video about the problem of sexual abuse of young boys in Pakistan madrassas ( Islamic Schools).

Something is seriously wrong in that part of the world. Of course, we have the problem of sexual abuse in the West by Catholic priests. Nevertheless, keep in mind that in neighboring Afghanistan, there is a problem with men abusing boys ("dancing boys"). Many returning troops have seen it happen.

Perhaps, some of my Pakistani or Afghan readers would like to weigh in.

When It Comes to Anti-Semitism, Never Blame Muslims

Hat tip Algemeiner

The  Zionist Organization of America chapter in Philadelphia is frustrated that a local synagogue is offering instruction on anti-semitism, but leaving out one very important element: Islamic anti-semitism.

https://www.algemeiner.com/2017/11/20/yes-muslim-antisemitism-exists-in-the-us/

As the writers indicate in the article, the recent events in Chalottesville, Virginia  remind us that there are still neo-Nazis and KKK types walking around. They are to be condemned. Yet, in my view, they are far from being the biggest problem when it comes to anti-semitism today. Whether we are speaking internationally or nationally. Most anti-semitism today is coming from Islamic quarters. As I have said many times, the focal point for American anti-Jewish sentiment is on our university campuses. That trail leads squarely to the pro-Palestinian forces on campuses, specifically the Students for Justice in Palestine and Muslim Student Association chapters.

It appears that the Jewish community in Philadelphia is facing the same problem of denial as the Jewish community in Southern California. They would rather point the finger at the aforementioned groups plus the so-called alt-right and Trump supporters. This was on display a few months ago at an inter-faith event I attended in Newport Beach, California. The event was held at the Temple Bat Yahm  synagogue.

Instead of holding hands with Muslim imams and community leaders, many of whom have a long record of intolerant speech directed at Jews and Christians, Jewish leaders should be demanding that they cease such verbiage and condemn anti-semitism and other forms of religious bigotry to their own flocks. In turn, Jews should demand that their rabbis and community leaders (Jewish Federation, Anti-Defamation league, Hillel, to name a few) stand up and speak out against Islamic anti-semitism.

Rutgers President Defends Jew-Hating Professors

Hat tip Algemeiner

                                                                                                Rutgers Gymnasium

                                                                                                "It's a general building."

“If you take that swastika and put it on the door of a dormitory, that’s not protected,” Barchi argued in return, “but if it is a general building on the university, by first amendment rights, it’s protected.”
-Robert Barchi, President of Rutgers University

We have written a lot about Rutgers and its problems with anti-semitism in the past few years. Presently, there are three professors at Rutgers who are under fire for their anti-semitic screeds. Two of them have been the subjects of Fousesquawk posts. Last Thursday, Rutgers president Robert Barchi addressed the issues at a town hall and declared it was all free speech.

https://www.algemeiner.com/2017/11/20/rutgers-president-defends-academic-freedom-of-three-professors-blasted-for-comments-on-israel-jews/

With the possible exception of Chikindas, Barchi seems to feel there is no problem with these professors and what they say and write. From his quote above I gather that if a student or professor wanted to hang a swastika on a "general" campus building, it would be just fine and dandy. It's academic freedom. I guess it's OK for a professor to hang a portrait of Adolf Hitler in the classroom at Rutgers. I guess it would be OK if someone wanted to hang the American flag on campus to half staff in memory of Charles Manson, who just died in a California prison hospital.

Yes, it's not easy to draw the line with issues of hate speech vs free speech. Much hate speech is protected as Barchi knows. In addition, is the offensive material on someone's personal social media or expressed within the scope of official university business?

Barchi also has a right to free speech. In my view, he should loudly condemn the odious statements made by these people. A university should also  ask itself at what point  a professor is bringing shame and discredit to the institution. That point, in my view, has already been reached at Rutgers.

Crybaby Martin Lejeune Interviewed on Al Jazeera

Hat tip Vlad Tepes

German journalist Martin LeJeune, a convert to Israel, Israel-basher, and fan of Turkish despot Recep Tayyip Erdogan, was just interviewed this week by Al Jazeera.

Everything is in Arabic and the voiceover makes it difficult to hear Lejeune's words in English, but it has to do with the new tensions in Lebanon. When I saw this, I sent in (via comments section)  the April 2017 video of Lejeune getting his nose broken at the Berlin Marathon.

http://garyfouse.blogspot.com/2017/04/crying-at-berlin-marathon_7.html

Of course, Al Jazeera loves to reach out to misguided Western crack pots to get their views on the Middle East-from an anti-Israel, pro-Arab point of view. Maybe after Al Jazeera sees the video of a crying, hysterical Lejeune at the marathon, they will be embarassed that they use such misfits as him. Then again, they probably know the true nature of the useful idiots in the West that they use as commentators, op-ed writers etc. Martin Lejeune has a lot of company right here in America.

SJP at Univ of Illinois

Hat tip Campus Reform

"Free free Palestine"

Add the University of Illinois to the list of universities that have experienced disruption at the hands of the Students for Justice in Palestine. When an officer of the Israel Defense Forces came to speak on campus, he got the standard treatment from SJP-disruption.

https://www.campusreform.org/?ID=10163

How many incidents of disruption will it take from these goons before universities across the nation realize that this organization has no business on any college campus? They do not respect civil discourse, free speech or public order. I'll tell you something else about these clowns. None of them would ever do what that Israeli speaker does- put on the uniform of their country and defend it.

What a despicable organization SJP is. They are a reflection of the guy who co-founded it-Hatem Bazian, a Palestinian professor at UC Berkeley.

University of Illinois Teacher Goes Postal on Campus

Hat tip Campus Reform

The University of Illinois thought they had dodged a bullet with Steven Salaita, but they are still stuck with a guy named Tariq Khan. This goof carried "lecturing" to a whole new level when he went postal on some students at a demonstration on campus. Result? He got himself arrested. The evidence was all on video (see below link).

https://www.campusreform.org/?ID=10171

The campus paper, the Daily Illini, has a section for the police blotter. The current edition has no mention of the arrest.

Afghan Teens Wreck Hostel in Germany

"It'll never be Afghanistan, but...."

For Afghan teens being lodged in a hostel in a small town in Germany were not satisfied with their lodgings. (Apparently they didn't measure up to what they had in Afghanistan). They proceeded to wreck the place and flee into the woods.

https://vladtepesblog.com/2017/11/18/unhappy-with-accommodation-refugee-youths-demolish-hostel-and-police-car/comment-page-1/#comment-385801

I wonder what the German word for "gratitude" is. (It's Dankbarkeit, which is the last word these mopes will learn.)

I suggest the next time this happens, the cops let them remain in the woods. German forests are delightful when winter sets in.

Uranium One Informant Named by FBI

Lobbyist William Campbell has been identified by the FBI as its informant in the Uranium One/Rosatom scandal in which Russia purchased 20% of America's Uranium supply. It was signed off on by then -Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and 8 other Obama administration department heads. Mr Campbell is prepared to testify before Congress as to the inner workings of the deal. The people who were involved with the Russians in making this purchase contributed over $140 million to the Clinton Foundation and arranged for Bill Clinton to make a speech in Moscow for a free over $500,000.

In addition, investigators are now in possession of a letter from former AG Loretta Lynch threatening Campbell with prosecution if he talked

It's going to get very interesting.

UC Irvine: Whatever Happened to New Narratives?

Image result for sleeping anteater
"New narratives"

Last April, I attended an event at UC Irvine entitled, "Standing Rock Is Everywhere". It was part of an initiative at UCI called "New Narratives".  Using the Standing Rock Indian reservation controversy over the North Dakota pipeline as a starting point, the event consisted of a panel of malcontents complaining about the state of affairs in Amerika (sic). At the conclusion of the event, I asked one of the organizers if they had-or planned to-invite speakers with a different point of view. I was referred to Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs Thomas Parham, who was running the program. I thus wrote to Dr Parham and posed the same question. I even passed along a couple of suggested speakers like Thomas Sowell and Larry Elder, both African-American conservatives. Dr Parham replied that he would pass the suggestions onto the selection committee.

Today, I checked the New Narratives website to see what they have been up to.

Apparently nothing. There seemingly have been no events since the one above.

Was it something I said?

If you are planning that next African vacation, you'd better read this before you choose your country of preference. Mauritania is the last bastion of slavery. Oh, it's technically true that the country abolished the institution in 1981, but it still exists, and nobody is being punished for its practice.

Not surprisingly, Mauritania is also a Muslim country. In fact, one of its citizens is now facing the death penalty for posting something on Facebook that was critical of the Prophet Mohammad.
