Hat tip Campus Reform
"We're f------- smart. We read books. We know s---."
This is a case of the chickens coming home to roost. At a recent event (date not specified in the article), UC Irvine held another one of its New Narratives forums, instituted by Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs Thomas Parham. Thus far, these events have featured nothing but left wing voices. When I attended one in April, I followed up by asking Dr Parham if and when they would invite more conservative voices for the sake of balance. Since then, according to their website, there haven't been any events, of which I took note just recently. I guess this one below didn't count since it was disrupted by a bunch of no-nothings who couldn't even articulate what they were protesting about. Campus Reform obtained a video which is contained below.

Why in the Hell were these disrupting students not evicted? How many times did Dr Parham repeat that he would be glad to meet with them in another setting to discuss their concerns? How many times did he warn them that they were engaging in disruptive conduct? And they continued with zero consequences. This is the same weakness that we see over and over and over from one campus to another. What an exercise in fecklessness. I saw that Parham's predecessor, Manuel Gomez was there. He was a disaster in that position before he retired. In fact, it's useless to call for new leadership at UCI because the next ones in line will be just as bad.
And just what were these idiots protesting? That Milo Yiannopoulos had appeared at UCI? What about all the other hate speakers from the left like Amir Abdel Malik Ali, Abdul Alim Musa, Mohamed al Asi and so many others-people who came and screamed their hatred against Jews?
And these kids think they are f----- smart? That they know s---? They are idiots. They should get a head start on life and start flipping burgers. Then they can see how hard life really is.
*Update: Here is the report of the event by the campus newspaper, New University. The event was on November 16.
