While President Obama and gay rights organizations beat up on Vladimir Putin for his dopey comments about gays and recent Russian laws prohibiting the promulgation of homosexuality in Russia, nobody says a peep about items like this:

Let's make this simple: If anyone in the West ( I am including Russia here) criticizes or moralizes about homosexuality, the left and the gay rights lobby get all in a tither. Meanwhile, if homosexuality is actually punished by death in the Islamic world, that's a taboo topic for discussion because we don't want to be perceived as being Islamophobic now, do we?
Do I have that right?
