The Ohio Case -David Axelrod Defends Campaign Suit Against Military Voters

David Axelrod

David Axelrod is futilely trying to defend the suit by the Obama campaign to not allow Ohio to give three extra days for military personnel to get their votes in.

To me this smells so much like the 2000 Florida election, where Democratic operatives flown in for the infamous re-count were high-fiving each other as they succeeded in getting hundreds of military absentee ballots disqualified because they knew they were going overwhelmingly in favor of George W. Bush over Al Gore.

Furthermore, as pointed out by Pam Geller, there is a previous history of this in the 2008 and 2010 elections in Virginia and Wisconsin respectively, in which a DOJ attorney named Lema Bashir was listed in court documents as a DOJ trial attorney in both cases.

So let's see; DOJ has filed lawsuits in several states to block voter ID laws saying they discriminate against minorities, coupled with a proven hostility to military votes. Then you have ACORN and their successor organization(s) already documented as to manufacturing fraudulent voters. Why is it that military serving overseas always seem to have a hard time getting their absentee ballots in to be counted ? Any kinks should have been ironed out decades ago you would think.

This is not something to wink at as if it were a coach stealing the opposing team's signs in a baseball game (which is a part of the game and an art). This is something that threatens our very democracy. If we cannot trust the results of our elections, then we go the way of the banana republics and the dictatorships that control their sham elections. In a law-abiding administration, we could count on our Justice Department to enforce the safeguards. Not so in this corrupt Justice Department, which is working feverishly to ensure an Obama win in November.

  2. I'm sure that if the military men and women would vote in droves for Obama this campaign would be pushing for this in every state.

Just when I thought this regime could not go lower, it goes even further down. Nothing they do from now on will surprise me.
