Muslim Brotherhood in Sweden (14)

Hat tip Samnytt and Emuel

This is the latest in our series of translations from European articles regarding the Muslim Brotherhood in Europe and number 14 on Sweden. It concerns a presentation by researcher  Sameh Egyptson on the Muslim Brotherhood in Sweden at Lund University.

The article is currently running in Samnytt (Sweden) but it is a little confusing as to the exact day of the presentation.  The article itself is not dated. I believe the presentation occurred on January 13, 2023.

At any rate, the Samnytt article below is translated by Fousesquawk.

Follow Sameh Egyptson's dissertation: Islamists have infiltrated Sweden

Posted 2:33 pm

On Friday, researcher Sameh Egyptson presents his thesis on how Islamists have infiltrated Sweden. Follow below a live streaming video from Lund University.

At 2 pm, the presentation of Sameh Egyptson's 740-page thesis begins. Egyptson for several years has charted how the Muslim Brotherhood has infiltrated both organizations and political parties in the country.

Egyptson identifies Muslim leaders, political parties, and authorities in his research. Over the years, municipalities and authorities have distributed hundreds of millions of kronors to student associations, schools, and organizations that the researcher claims are run by Islamists.

One of those accused of being a Muslim Brotherhood in Sweden is the Islamic Association. An influential network that raises millions of kronors in support from taxpayers and also runs the Stockholm Mosque in Södermalm.

Security arrangements

Lund University has been forced to take security measures before the presentation including having the building closed down. This is after Islamists have said that they intend to be present and protest against the thesis.

Below is a live stream video from the presentation. The video can also be seen here.
