Out here in Orange Country, California, one of our local mosques is making waves after its imam, Moustafa Kamel of the Al Ansar Mosque in Anaheim, posted a talk on his YouTube channel in which he quoted the "hadith" describing the Day of Judgment when Jews will hide behind trees and rocks and the trees and rocks will call out to Muslims, "O Muslim. There is a Jew hiding behind me. Come and kill him".
The video clip, which was posted on February 1, just days after the January 27 synagogue attack in Jerusalem, has, in turn, been posted by Memri TV. I am cross-posting it below.
Today, I checked the mosque's website to see if there is any mention of this controversy. I see none.
I did see this, however:

The two quotes following this one are from Muhammed al Ghazali and Yusuf al Qaradawi, the latter, now deceased, being the spiritual leader of the Muslim Brotherhood, an anti-Semite, and an apologist for terrorism. Both of these quotes are in Arabic, which I do not know. There is a Google "translation" available. I don't know how accurate it is, but both quotes are benign and not worth discussing.
I will be anxious to see if there is any clarification coming out of this mosque in the coming days.
