Swedish Cartoon

Hat tip Katarina Magasin Translation by Fousesquawk.

Update: Below is our translation of the article by Katarina Janouch in the Swedish blog, Katarina Magazin, that goes with the above cartoon. In this article, Janouch calls out the hypocrisy of the liberal left when it comes to Islamic terror.

*Note: We have not translated the tweets in the article, only Janouch's summary.

Anger grows at cowardly Swedish politicians. "I am deeply ashamed of our prime minister"

November 3, 2020

"Many are also amazed that the brutal murder of the black mother of three, Simone Barreto Silva, 44, who was stabbed to death in Nice, France last week, did not cause an international storm as arose when  American George Floyd died when he was arrested by American police. That black lives don't matter when the perpetrator is a Muslim terrorist shows the enormous hypocrisy, and that all the talk of people's equal worth means nothing. "Tell my children that I love them," were some of Barreto Silva's last words, report witnesses at the scene. But the death, as I said, is met by compact silence from the liberal left and politically correct goodness-signaling camps who, otherwise, like to engage in identity politics displays."

Dresden, Paris, Nice, Avignon, and now most recently, Vienna. The Islamist terror attacks have succeeded each other in the past weeks, and many notice that the low-intensity war against the open, free, and democratic Europe has gone into a new and violent phase. 79% of French people feel that "Islamism has declared war" against France. France's President Macron has answered the barbaric violence by closing one of the mosques that called for terror, which was followed by the teacher Samuel Paty being beheaded on a public street because he taught about freedom of speech. The terrorist attack in Nice was a direct attack against Christianity, and yesterday's terror in Vienna was directed against the open society and Jewish targets. The European leaders try to send strong signals to the perpetrators-while our own prime minister,  Stefan Löfven, expresses himself hovering suspended and extremely neutral instead of taking a clear stand against terror in Islam's name. There is increasing anger and irritation on social media "I am ashamed," writes journalist Chris Forsne, and he is supported by many (social media) users. The only ones that really take a clear stand against Islamization and terror in Europe are the Sweden Democrats, Alternative for Sweden, and  Civic Assembly (political parties). The rest of the parties are silent. But remember- silence is violence, if we may use their own word.  By not (speaking out) and not acting, we give our consent to the hair-raising developments. For example, by allowing ISIS-terrorists to travel to Sweden.

Journalist Chris Forsne, who earlier worked in public service, notes that Prime Minister Stefan Löfven, limited the possibility for his citizens to comment on his action on social media. He writes that he is ashamed that our prime minister doesn't dare name political Islam.

Svenska Dagbladet's lead writer, Ivar Arpi, urges: "Do not give your vote to politicians who refuse to speak plainly."
Blogger and debater, Mons Krabbe charges: "You stand against Europe's people!"
Author Ramona Fransson attacks Löfven harshly: "Cowardice shines like a neon light".
The "Taxpayer" expresses it concisely: "He is not my prime minister".
"Joakim" writes, " Blah blah blah, unacceptable. Come up with measures instead."
Erika Ohlsson: "After the latest round of terror acts, other countries deport Islamists while the Swedish government orders a tax-funded million welcome committee for the female ISIS terrorists at the airport."
Debater Mattias Lindberg: "It is absurd that the prime minister doesn't mention the ideology behind the latest attacks."
Many are also amazed that the brutal murder of the black mother of three, Simone Barreto Silva, 44, who was stabbed to death in Nice, France last week, did not cause an international storm as arose when  American George Floyd died when he was arrested by American police. That black lives don't matter when the perpetrator is a Muslim terrorist shows the enormous hypocrisy, and that all the talk of people's equal worth means nothing. "Tell my children that I love them," were some of Barreto Silva's last words, report witnesses at the scene. But the death, as I said, is met by compact silence from the liberal left and politically correct goodness-signaling camps who, otherwise, like to engage in identity politics displays.
Europe finds itself in a  hurtful ideological and religious conflict. With weak leaders, the aggressive (forces) will win new conquests of our societies. Freedom of speech and democracy or oppression and political Islam. It is time to choose the path- and it is urgent.
