Paris' famed Notre Dame cathedral is in flames at this hour. It is a serious fire that broke out on the roof and tower levels of the cathedral. The cause is not yet known though there is speculation it could be related to on-going restoration work.
France has been suffering a rash of church vandalisms in recent months, but it is too soon to say if this was arson.
