CAIR Sets Up Islamophobia Web Site

Hat tip Discover the Networks

It had to happen. The Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) has set up an Islamophobia website, where YOU Dear Citizen, can report those evil Islamophobes who are walking among us.

Here is CAIR's definition of Islamophobia

"Islamophobia is closed-minded prejudice against or hatred of Islam and Muslims. An Islamophobe is an individual who holds a closed-minded view of Islam and promotes prejudice against or hatred of Muslims."

Any term that has "phobia" in it is tricky to define. What I mean is do you consider a phobia to be a hatred of something or someone, or a fear of something or someone, and if it is a fear, is it an irrational fear? I know a lot of people in the world who have a very rational fear of Muslims at the moment, like Assyrian Christians, Coptic Christians, Chaldeans, Yazidis living in the Middle East not to mention Baha'i in Iran.

At least I know one thing: By CAIR's definition, I am not an Islamophobe because I don't hate Muslims. I do have serious reservations about certain aspects of Islam, such as sharia law and passages in the Koran that promote hatred of Jews and Christians. I am also solidly against the jihadists who are wreaking havoc in the world as well as the stealth jihadists who are trying to bring about the Islamic caliphate by working within the system in Western countries where they reside. At any rate, I am not yet on CAIR's list, not that I much care. I know that CAIR's LA director, a guy named Hussam Ayloush, thinks I am an Islamophobe because he called me one last year in Riverside just because I had the temerity to ask him why he showed no concern for Syrian Christians in a presentation in which he was advocating US intervention in Syria. I also asked him why CAIR would host a speaker like Siraj Wahhaj, who has referred to America as a "filthy garbage can".

Speaking of Ayloush, this so-called human rights activist might examine his own phobias. This is a guy who reportedly spoke at a protest outside the Israeli Consulate in Los Angeles in 2000 while members of UCLA's Muslim Student Association were allegedly chanting, "Death to Israel, Death to Jews". Where can I report that phobia?

Speaking of which, I also note that CAIR sets up a tip line where people can snitch each other off, much like neighbors in Pakistan snitch each other off by accusing Christians of blasphemy, a sure fire way to impact their lives in a negative way. I wonder if they offer rewards.

And who is on their list of Islamophobes? Apostates like Nonie Darwish, Wafa Sultan and Ayaan Hirsi Ali, who all have to live and move about under security because of the death threats on their lives-threats mandated by that portion of sharia (hudud) which mandates death for apostates. Also on the list is Muslim reformer Zuhdi Jasser, who is not afraid to speak out against people like CAIR and their support for organizations like the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas. I suppose those individuals might be suffering from phobias themselves as they spend their lives looking over their shoulders-even in America.

Also of note under the list of contacts is UC Berkeley Professor Hatem Bazian. This is a guy who has called for an intifada in the US. He also allegedly once told a university audience to look around the campus and see how many Jewish names were on the buildings.

Phobia?

  1. The Islamophobia website seems to be the brain-child of Corey Saylor, CAIR's national legislative director. If you click on their "contact" box, the email is addressed to CAIR as well as to Corey. This might be a good time to remind Corey that what CAIR is really phobic about is the truth about the evil ideology of Islam. Their black list of Islamophobes reads like a Who's Who of Americans dedicated to telling the truth about Islam.
