Hat tip Gates of Vienna
Nothing below should be construed as support for the brutal Syrian dictator Bashar Assad, however this piece is disturbing. A young Frenchman, Aldo Sterone, who grew up in Algeria, posted this video of himself talking behind the wheel of a car while visiting Britain. He talks of a a tweet posted by Rana Kabbani, a Syrian-born columnist for the Guardian, a left-wing UK newspaper calling for the torture of Bashar Assad and the rape of his wife and small children in front of his eyes. Sterone has lodged a formal complaint in the UK. The video is in French with English sub-titles, and in it, he goes off into his thoughts on pedophilia.

Make no mistake: I will not shed tears if Assad comes out of this war as a dead man. However, Ms Kabbani, as a journalist and broadcaster, should weigh her words more carefully. I don't know how British law would apply here, but this just goes to show the sheer brutality of this conflict on all sides.
Another good reason why I don't get involved with this Twitter nonsense.
