LA Times Editorial on Religious Persecution

Even the LA Times gets it right once in a while

Today's LA Times has a staff editorial praising President Obama's call for religious freedom at a recent prayer breakfast.

I commend the editorial although  it doesn't go far enough. It would be great if the President would back up his words with more forceful diplomatic action to protect Christians and other religious minorities in Muslim lands. He should take the international lead on this issue. He (and other nations) should also offer refuge to persecuted Christians (with full background checks, of course).

Update*  Uh oh!

  1. Liberals are very good at inspirational platitudes but in practice they typically don't actually practice what they preach and when they do, they implement such stupid policies that they cause more misfortune than before.

Keep watching for any Obama policy at all that protects religious minorities in Egypt.

Even here in the US, his Obamacare abortion violates the religious convictions of some ... see the Hobby Lobby Case or the Catholic Sisters of the Poor case.

    Obvious hypocracy!
