Was Morsi Negotiating With Al Qaeda?

Hat tip Vlad Tepes and Voice of the Copts

With the trial of Mohammed Morsi beginning in Egypt, Voice of the Copts is reporting that Morsi had been in secret contact with Al Qaeda leader Ayman al Zawahiri. If true, it raises even more troubling issues about Morsi, the Muslim Brotherhood, and the Obama administration's relationship with them.

"Now, what exactly is the purpose of the anticipated six-hour visit to Egypt by U.S. Secretary of State, John Kerry, planned for Sunday, November 3rd, one day before the date set for Morsi’s trial?"

  1. Not easy to alienate both sides in a war and still end up on the side of our enemies, the Muslim Brotherhood. We have lost the trust of all the Egyptians as well as having driven them into the sphere of the Soviets.

This is not only amateurish but genuinely harmful to our nation's standing in the world.

Obama began by insulting the British by returning the bust of Churchill to England. He then went on to "put daylight" between the US and Israel. Then he went on an apology tour for everything wrong everyone before him in the US was. Then he made an appeal to the Muslim Countries in his first foreign speech that happened to be in Cairo. He can't even return there now.
We have not gained a single new ally in the world and lost former allies. We have had our Ambassador murdered, without any explanation as to why were not prepared, inexcusably did not respond to calls for help, and then lie about the circumstances afterwards.

Obama supporting Morsi is only one of a long, long list of foreign policy disasters.

Message was only limited by space and time to list all that has gone wrong.
