Political Correctness in Germany: German Man Beaten by "Southerners"

There is a German blog I have linked on this site called, "Politically Incorrect". Today, I learn that this blog is under investigation by the Bavarian State Office for Protection of the Constitution. In the old West Germany, this was designed to protect the Bundesrepublik from Communism as well as groups threatening democracy  including neo-Nazis.

If I thought that Politically Incorrect was any such threat, I would not link them on Fousesquawk*, but no matter. This week, Politically Incorrect is running a news item about how political correctness works in Germany. On June 1, a 23-year-old German man was assaulted by a gang of about 10-15 young men who beat him as he was awaiting a bus in the Cologne district of Bocklemünd.

Here is the German report from the Cologne police:

http://www.polizei-news.net/2013/06/koln-zehn-bis-15-manner-schlagen-und.html

"Nach Angaben des Opfers sollen die Täter südländischer Abstammung sein. "

"According to the statement of the victim, the perpetrators were of southern origin."

European authorities and media have a curious habit of referring to rioters, extremists and criminals when they are not indigenous Europeans. The Germans have taken the cake on this one by referring to them as "Southerners" (Südländer).  Does that mean Bavarians?

Redneck Southerners in the US, perhaps?

How about Southern Europeans? You know, in Italy, northerners have traditionally referred to the supposed criminality of southern Italians.

Well, it turns out that "Southerners" (Südländer) refers to a mysterious people found somewhere south of Europe.

South Pole, perhaps?

If current trends continue, someday around 2050, Germany will no longer have that constitution they supposedly are trying to protect. It is not people like Politically Incorrect who threaten it.

It is those mysterious southerners.

* I do, however, take issue with a comment from a reader in the US that contains the n-word in reference to Arabs. It would have been better had it been deleted by the blog.

    Charity begins at Home Gary.

Plus nothing in the article you linked had any proof that the criminals in Germany were Arabs/Turks/Muslims/"Asians".

The article I posted a link too has definitive proof that the criminals in Kentucky were White, Conservative, and Christians.

  3. Nelly,

If you want to keep looking up crimes by white people who are nominally Christian, but probably give a sh** about religion, be my guest. I will not bother to check them out.

I guess according to you, the perps were Bavarians after all. Yes, They were seen fleeing in green lederhosen.

  5. Gee, Gary, you have a citation from the Koran for that? I didn't think so.

  6. Siarlys,

I am not an expert on the Koran and the only English language one I possess is from Muslim publishers. You might peruse Sura 33 verse 59. It appears to touch on the subject indirectly. It refers to telling believing wives and daughters to cover themselves so they will not be annoyed (or attacked)My version has "attacked" in perenthesis.
