Lars Hedegaard Speaks Out for Freedom

Hat tip to Gates of Vienna

If you don't know who Lars Hedegaard is, you should. A writer and editor, he is one of the relatively few Europeans courageous enough to speak out abut what is happening in Europe. For that, some in his native Denmark think he should be prosecuted. Others think he should be killed. In fact, he just survived an assassination attack at his own home. Two days ago, he spoke in Copenhagen to an audience of the International Free Press Society, of which he is the chairman. The speech is about 9 minutes long with sub-titles in English. It is worth a listen.

There are others like Hedegaard, Lars Vilks in Sweden, Geert Wilders in Holland, Elisabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff in Austria, and Guy Milliere in France. They risk their freedom on one hand and their lives on another. They deserve our support.
