The Administration Gets Read the Riot Act-by a Democrat

Kirsten Powers is a Democratic strategist who has appeared often on Fox News as a contributor. I don't always agree with her, but I have always considered to be intellectually honest. In this piece, Powers takes the Obama administration to task for their shameful response to the brutal murders of 4 American officials in Libya as well as the violent demonstrations in the rest of the Muslim world.

Well said, Kirsten. It is high time Americans of both parties start standing up to these barbarians.

  1. Powers has always seemed to be at least fairly left-wing to me. I was denied access to the link to her piece/column (whatever it was) and will try to find it elsewhere.

Without reading it, I did catch her on Hannity in the recent past, and they talked about it and the situation. I was greatly but pleasantly surprised, not to mention happy, at her reaction to this mess. A lot of Dems/libs/progressives, etc., could learn something from her on this one.

  2. @ elwood,

I agree with you elwood and Gary as well. Indeed, I was also pleasantly surprised to read Powers reaction to the deceptive Administration. Her article is EXCELLENT, as it brings out most of the importantant points. Is Powers moving to the middle as she realizes that Obama is a fraud?
Just today, Obama proclaims that "we are better off now". Really?! Another deception or the possible truth that Obama is an alien from another galaxy.

  3. Define what you mean by "These barbarians."

Do you mean the people and government of Libya?

Do you mean all Muslims who do not live within the United States and bear the Fousesquawk Seal of Approval?

Do you mean the young ladies in hijabs holding photos of Ambassador Stevens and carrying candles to memorialize him?

Do you mean the many Libyan friends he made by going out on the street and drinking tea, knowing he was taking a risk, but knowing he could not do his job if he huddled in fear behind fortified embassy walls?

Powers sound like one of these left-wing fanatics who wants to wave a magic wand and see all political trends they don't like to vanish upon command.

Your and her diatribes are a disgrace to Stevens's memory:

  4. I am referring to the people we see on the streets in the newsreels, that's who. I am referring to the barbarians who killed Stevens-that's who.

  5. Well that is a rather limited number of people Gary. A rather miniscule fraction of Libyans as a matter of fact.

Your bombastic rhetoric sounds like blaming "Americans" for some stupid little film made by three cowardly cretins in California.
