House Panel Votes Contempt on Holder
Eric Holder- 2011 Fousesquawk Jerk of the Year
The House Oversight Committee voted today 23-17 (along party lines) to hold Eric Holder in contempt.

How disappointing that not one Democrat could see the utter corruption of what is going on here. The family of murdered Border Patrol agent Brian Terry is weighing in and showing their disgust with the cover-up.
And what was it that Eric Holder brought to his meeting yesterday with Darrell Issa to try and reach a compromise? He brought Issa a 9-page copy of the letter he was sending to the president requesting executive privilege. He offered to turn over certain documents (obviously of his choosing) among those subpoenaed and give Issa a "briefing". In return for that, the committee was supposed to certify that Holder had fully complied with the subpoena. And his stooge on the committee, Elijah Cummings, tells us that Holder was making a reasonable attempt to comply.
And now we have the president claiming executive privilege. Legally, that should be an admission that he was involved in this scandal. If he continues to claim that neither he nor anyone in the White House (like David Axelrod, for instance) was involved in Fast and Furious and its cover-up, then he has no right to claim executive privilege.
Which is it, Mr President?
Obama had to know that his action could only raise the issue to a higher level and make it harder for his friends in the media not to report the story. It increases the possibility that Fast and Furious could grow into a major campaign issue. Why then did he take this action instead of forcing Holder to resign?
The only answer that makes sense is that the president has a lot to hide. Those tens of thousands of documents are likely to show that Obama was involved in Fast and Furious, possibly even being in on the formulation of the plans to let weapons walk into Mexico, let alone helping Holder and his corrupt DOJ cover it all up and blame it on rogue ATF street agents in Arizona (whom they still cannot identify) .
Besides, it is clear now that Obama cannot throw Holder under the bus. He needs Holder's silence.
That, of course, is merely my opinion.
"You're catchin' on."
