Eric and Janet on the Loose. Last Seen in Utah
If they ever make a sequel to that Bonnie and Clyde movie, they should call it "Eric and Janet" after the pair who are doing their darnest to keep America in danger. From furnishing guns to Mexican drug cartels to keeping the US safe for illegal aliens, these two are thwarting every effort by any of the 50 states to try and assist the federal government in doing the job that Eric and Janet won't do. Utah is the latest state to feel the wrath of Eric and Janet.

This is the same warped philosophy that kept the FBI and CIA from sharing intelligence during the Clinton administration when Jamie Gorelick was the eminence gris behind the feckless Reno Justice Department. She is the one who constructed that wall between law enforcement and intelligence that helped the 9-11 hijackers slip under the radar. She was rewarded for that act of criminal negligence by a spot on the 9-11 Commisssion.
The fact is that the feds need the cooperation of the state and local authorities, and they should be working together to identify and round up criminal illegal aliens. Instead we have cities like LA, San Francisco and others declaring themselves sanctuary cities, which suits Holder and Napolitano just fine. Other places like Utah that want to help or simply do the job the feds won't do are subject to federal lawsuits from Eric the Red and Janet the Feckless.
Imagine. It seems so simple. Yet, the cops arrest someone who probably isn't even in the country legally and either they don't want to notify the feds or the feds don't want to be notified.

ReplyDeleteHouston is not a declared sanctuary city but it is certainly an "unofficial" one.
