White House is Hiding Visitor Logs

"I think it's time to burn those visitors logs, Davy."

Hat tip to Politico

The "most transparent administration in history" is appealing a judge's ruling that Secret Service visitor logs for the White House are subject to a Freedom of Information request. (That would seem obvious.)

What is it the White House wishes to hide? Could it be the presence of radical figures who have visited the White House-especially in the wake of scandals like Solyndra? I remember when they made a big deal out of posting the visitors logs on their own. They even inserted a few names designed to get the conservative blogs to erroneously report that people like Bill Ayers were visiting the White House. Cute trick. Now they don't want to release the names?

I'll get to the bottom of this; I will send a note to my White House pals at Attack Watch and get the straight skinny.

No sooner said than done. Here is my message:

"Politico reports that the White House is appealing a judges ruling that White House vistors logs are subject to FOIA requests. I know the White House previously released lists. Why are you fighting this? Pam Geller says you don't want the public to know who is visiting the White House."

I'll let you know as soon as I get my response. Stay tuned.

  1. All this President represents is a sleazy Chicago style politician. He fooled almost everyone by lying about his associations with ACORN, Ayers, Dorhn ad others. He lied about being transparent, as he has hidden his scholarship or lack there of and his record at Occidental, Columbia and Harvard. Now, he wants to hide the White House visitor list, as well as the Solyndra emails. I guess I should not count the heavily redacted communications of the DoJ to Congress, regarding the Fast and Furious gun runner case.

  3. Yes, Siarlys.

And those guys storming the Alamo are the Tea party.

  4. No, I don't think so. Santa Anna favored a centralized, powerful federal government, and weak, subordinate state ones. That's the original reason for the revolt.
