This week, MSNBC's Chris Matthews continued to demonstrate why he is slowly losing his mind as he tries (unsuccessfully) to ask David Korn why Herman Cain is so popular among Republicans. The burning question is: Will Republicans vote for Cain because he is black before they vote against him because he is black?
Republicans will stampede to vote for ANY businessman with dark skin who declares himself a conservative. It is their own form of affirmative action.
ReplyDeleteWrong. It's because conservatives of all colors are welcome. Its the ideology that counts, not the color.
ReplyDeleteWrong. Republicans fall all over themselves BECAUSE they found one black conservative. It is VERY special to them. Scott Walker tried to engineer such an outcome in a congressional race in 2004. His candidate lost the Republican primary with 48% of the vote, partly because most black voters backed Gwen Moore in the Democratic primary. There were a few nationalist-minded voters who wanted to vote in both primaries, once for each black candidate.
ReplyDeleteIf Cain gets the Republican nomination, this election will go down like Alan Keyes II.
