My what an interesting show Piers Morgan has. Now he drags in actor Sean Penn for an interview. In between drags on his cigarette, Penn is guaranteed to make some dopey statement, and he didn't disappoint the hapless Morgan.

Now keep in mind that Penn is an expert in judging character in people, right?
Here is Sean getting a briefing on protests from Hugo Chavez.
Sean Penn is certainly a talented actor, just as OJ Simpson was a talented football player, and Barbra Streisand is a talented singer. Unfortunately, that's about as far as it goes.
One would only hope that the next time Penn visits Chavez in Venezuela, he might gently prod him about how he treats his tiny Jewish minority, or what he does to support the FARC guerillas in neighboring Colombia.
Penn knows about as much about character as I know about acting.
I saw the interview, I agree with you. He doesn't come across too swift.
