The current PA prime minister is making great progress at building a functional economy and a competent police force -- something the Arab nations never wanted Palestinian refugees to have, because then they wouldn't want to "return."
Too bad Bibi N. didn't seize the chance to sign a peace accord, before Fatah decided they might as well cut a deal with Hamas. Israel's leadership has their head buried SOOOOOOOOOOOOO deep in the sand.
Israel is free democratic and produces things other than bombs. Meanwhile her neighbors are killing each other and burning down Christian churces. Yet, all you guys want to talk about is Israel.
You guys? I speak only for myself. Israel is missing the boat in many ways, endangering itself, the world in general, the USA in specific, and sustaining conditions that favor Hamas and a mix of monarchies and dictatorships, distorting legitimate aspirations toward democracy in Arab nations.
When the subject is Israel, I talk about Israel. When the subject is Egypt, I talk about Egypt. Both have their deficiencies. We do neither one any favors by using one as the yardstick to measure the other.
