Hat tip to Brussels Journal
Finally, there is some good news coming out of Scandinavia. It seems that the Danish prime minister is standing up for freedom of expression in the on-going flap over cartoons. Certain newspapers in Norway are starting to stand up for the Danes, and even more importantly, moderate Danish Muslims are speaking out in defense of freedom of expression and against imams who have a different world view.

Kudos to those Danish Muslims who embrace Western values. As to those (non Danish-speaking) imams with different ideas, maybe it's time to send them packing back to their respective countries of origin.
Sounds good to me. The cartoons were in poor taste, and offered zero entertainment of intellectual content. I wouldn't, as a published, have paid two cents for them. However, we don't prosecute for blasephemy, nor for poor taste, and we're not going to start doing so. One Thirty Years War and a Salem Witchcraft Trial were enough for us.
