Update on Killing of Jewish Demonstrator in Thousand Oaks

Multiple sources are identifying the suspect believed to have been involved in the altercation that led to the death of Paul Kessler on November 5  in Thousand Oaks, California, who was demonstrating for Israel. The man believed to be the suspect (he has not yet been charged) is a 50-year-old professor at Ventura Country Community College named Loay Alnaji.

Police are still investigating the exact circumstances of Kessler's death. Since there were two opposing demonstrations on-going at the time, police have received conflicting versions of what happened.  They are asking members of the public who have photos or videos of the incident to come forward. It is alleged by some witnesses that Kessler was struck in the head with a megaphone at which time he fell backwards and struck his head on the pavement.
