As the death toll rises in Israel from the Hamas terror attack, more and more gruesome details emerge. Over 600 Israelis are now reported dead, largely civilian victims of the Hamas terrorists. In the US, Secretary of State Anthony Blinken has stated that there will likely be several US citizens among the dead. France is reporting one of its citizens killed, Germany as well. These numbers will also rise.
Meanwhile here in the US, the Council of American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), a Hamas-linked organization posing as a civil rights organization for Muslims, is running a statement of support for "the people of Palestine" and blaming Israel for "unprovoked" attacks against Gaza! The statement is by the US Council of Muslim Organizations, an umbrella organization, of which CAIR is a member.
"The recent unprovoked and continuous attacks by Israel on Palestinian towns, cities, and refugee camps have resulted in tragic loss of Palestinian lives. We condemn Israel’s targeted and indiscriminate killing of civilians, including innocent children, women, and the elderly, and we denounce the inhumane siege imposed on the nearly 2 million inhabitants of Gaza, a clear violation of international law and an implied declaration of open war on the Palestinians which oblige them to be in constant self-defense."
This is the most blatant lie since Hitler orchestrated a fake "Polish" attack on a German radio station in 1939 as his excuse for invading Poland. Unprovoked??
"We call upon the United States government, which provides military, economic, financial, political, diplomatic, and limitless support to Israel, to exert pressure on the occupation regime to immediately cease these atrocities."
Sorry CAIR et al, but even the feckless Biden administration has expressed full support for Israel, and I can only hope they live up to their promise. What needs to cease is US financial; aid to the Palestinians and a cessation of deals with Iran, which is financing this attack by Hamas.
"Furthermore, we urge Arab and Muslim countries that have normalized relations with Israel to reconsider their approach in pursuit of peace and stability in the region. We must remember that the concept of “land for peace” has been long proposed, only to be ignored and dismissed by Israel, causing humiliation and disgrace to those who proposed it. Normalizing relations should never come at the expense of the Palestinian people’s rights to their lands."
This is supporting peace? Naturally, what Hamas wants, what Iran wants, and what CAIR et al want is a breakdown of the Abraham Accords by which certain Arab nations have been normalizing relations with Israel. The statement about "land for peace" above is also laughable. Gaza itself is a shining example of how Israel traded land for peace-which failed obviously. Israel abandoned Gaza, left it to the Palestinians, even forcibly removed Israelis living there. This same Gaza that attacked Israel. Israel should dismiss any further talk of land for peace. The Palestinians don't want peace. They want blood and they want every Jew in Israel out or dead as per the Hamas charter, which among other things states this (which comes from the Islamic hadith, the attributed statements of the Prophet Mohammad)
"The hour of judgment shall not come until the Muslims fight
The Jews and kill them, so that the Jews hide behind trees and stones,
And each tree and stone will say: ‘Oh Muslim, oh servant of Allah,
there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him…"
That should tell you all you need to know about Hamas, CAIR, and the US Council of Muslim Organizations.
