In the midst of the latest horrific wave of anti-Semitism that has accompanied the Hamas attack on Israel, there has been a tragic event in Illinois, that we cannot ignore. A 71-year-old man, Joseph Czuba, has been charged with the stabbing murder of a 6-year-old Palestinian boy, Wadea Alfayoumi, and attempted murder of his mother. It is reported that the suspect shouted, "All you Muslims must die" during the attack.
This must be condemned by all people of conscience. These victims were innocent. I have always been consistent that attacking Muslims in retaliation for the acts of others is inexcusable.
